    For those who don't know, this Calibretto:

    Calibretto concept art

    I'm looking to make a Calibretto inpsired character, and I wonder if anyone knows of a good base character. The best I've found is a Warjack over on ShareCG;
    https://sharecg.com/v/87263/browse/11/Poser/warjack-UPDATE-%21%21%21-sorry-file-missing

    And the alternate would be to morph a G8 or G9 character to roughly those proportions and add a mix of medieval and Sci-Fi armor, but I've yet to find good looking, detailed mechanical hands, and haven't found a good head/helmet, either.

    So, I'm open to suggestions 🙂

    That robot or mecha, obviously, can never be a Genesis 8 or 9 morph... (the difference in size and morphology are brutal...)

    The cr2 format (from Poser...) has its own rigging, which, In order not to complicate things, you should respect. You can convert it to duf if you want..., but it has articulations with IK, something that has been discontinued since Victoria 4...

    In Daz, you can convert it to OBJ in parts, and edit them with Blender or Rhino (as in my case...)

    But, honestly, I would contact this author, to be able to obtain the model, more adjusted to the original Calibretto:

    And, re-rigging the entire model with bones named like daz models... (Pain in the ass! 😀 )

    Maybe I was unclear; I didn't mean to convert the Warjack to a morph 😉

    I want to make a Calibretto-ish Robot/Golem/... character, and I could use the Warjack as a base OR a morphed G8/G9. The Toon Dwayne morph, for instance, gets the proportions in the right ballpark, IMO.

    Was curious if anyone knew of a better base.
