Bundles - Individual Items or the Whole Shebang?

Lately, I've noticed that a lot of the Pro Bundles being posted are now done up as folders, allowing you to download each item carte blanche.

I, for one, welcome this change, because even with as good of an internet connection as I have, it's still spotty at times and downloading an entire 1-2GB bundle for maybe only 1-3 specific items was getting incredibly ridiculous. That was the reason why I opted to post the Monique 8 bundle (which is probably the only pro bundle I'll ever post, lmao) as a folder link with individual downloads.

The downside to this approach, I suppose, is that it could limit the individual items being posted to the Zone as well. Then again, for 50 points you get access to 7-9 items, so I think it balances itself out.

I was wondering how some of the Zone feel about this. Do you prefer folder/individual downloads within a ProBundle file, or do you prefer the 'done-in-one' approach?

I like separate file downloads in a main file. I dont like busting up a Pro bundle for a zillion points.

That isn't what @NotEnoughRupees is saying @Adam. He is saying using a file sharing site like MEGA that allows you to give a single folder link containing seperate dl links for each of the products contained within that bundle. It's basically an all in one but you get to choose and download only the products that interest you.

I for one like it that way.

1 - I don't have the greatest internet speed.
2 - I'm not an avid collector. I grab things I use and not much else. Having to download extra outfits not only clutters my runtime but also uses up space on hard drives that are already at close to capacity.

So to summarize, yeah, I too enjoy having folder links with individual product links. 😀

As long as it's posted as one item and I can get the whole bundle, that's the most important thing. When it's 2-3 items in the bundle, it's not a big deal, but when it's like 7-9 you have to find and download them all separately let alone it's a lot more points.

Personally, I would prefer them all be in one file, because I download the whole bundle anyway, and it takes let time (meaning my time not download time, but I'm often downloading a bunch of different things at once). The other thing is, the way I have my stuff organized, I have to go through and rezip it together as the bundle anyway.

Though I totally understand why people don't necessarily want that, due to download speed. I'm happy for it to be there either way:)

There are valid arguments for both ways.

Posting bundles in a folder is probably the most user friendly approach.

As long as the item posted is clearly labelled then the user can decide which upload to take.

I like it when you can go in and get the stuff separate I too don't always want or need the whole bundle so it is pointless to download it all just to get a couple of things and than throw out every thing else.
