Hi all , I have a character in a Blender file that I'd like to use/convert (skin texture only) to work on G8F and I was wondering if anyone knows the easiest way to covert it to work in Daz , has anyone done this before ? I'd sure appreciate any help - thanks

    Hmmm...

Just spitballing, but I imagine something like aligning a base res G8F to the Blender model (or vice versa), then making new UVs, then baking the texture to the new UVs. Or something like that. I'm sure there's a way. How complicated though? <shrug>

    Or...

Isn't there a method using Transform Utility for fitting other figures to 'fit' G8F? Maybe there's a solution in that?

I hate to even suggest this but in the past I've used google ai to walk through new development processes. It was a pain-in-the-ass but I just kept telling it what problems arose and it eventually worked out. I say that in the past tense because it's been months since I've last used google ai and it may currently be more intelligent, I honestly don't know.

If I have any advice to give, be specific and tell it the exact build of the programs you're using so it can more correctly guide you through the process. I ran across issues where it would tell me to navigate into the menu structure and select things that did not exist but after explaining what builds I was using, it was able to be correctly specific in it's instructions. It'll work if you can be patient with it.
