Figured I'd post here before going to the forum but has anyone experienced a black screen while using Daz Studio? What I mean is, I could be tweaking models bodies, fixing their hairs or what not and then out of no where my PC just goes black. What's crazy is that it's happening while I'm not using iray or anything. I've updated my nvidia drivers and such but this is becoming a pain. Also the only way to get out of this issue so far is to hard reset it which can't be good for the PC. This only happens when I'm using Daz Studio. Thoughts?

In years, has never happened, suspect problem is with your computer not Daz

I got 40gb of Ram. I know that's not much compared to others but could that really be the issue? I'm backing up my data as we speak and probably end up taking it to the shop.

Or dodgy sticks. The first thing I'd try is check and re-seat my DIMM sticks.

    Thanks, I'll check that also.

I restart DS regularly to clear the cache.

That also may be an issue.

Sometimes it's some corrupted file somewhere.

    - Try updating your video card drivers
    - Make sure no other RAM-hungry app is running in the background
    - Check if your Windows have some files corrupted (there is an easy fix for that too, but google it).
    - In the worst scenario, uninstall and re-install DAZ Studio.
