Best Skins

Hi, I’m making a G9 East-Asian female character and I'm looking for a skin that has the following things:
• Pale skin tone like "Xiao 9"
• Naturally darker intimate areas (areolas, inner thighs) like "Hanako 9"
• Natural looking face

I really like the two skins I mentioned and I'm currently using Xiao 9, but the intimate areas are darker. I tried to darken those but it didn't look that good. I could also probably go even paler than Xiao 9 but I can always just decrease the opacity.

As for skins it seems that the ones with better quality and more details are always the ones from Daz themselves. I really like the "Lala Su" as well but other than that I haven't seen any other creator come close to the same level of quality, but I might be wrong. Can anyone recommend me something that fits my criteria or is "Xiao 9" and "Hanako 9" my best bets?

Lighten the skin in DS using the surfaces panel.

As for areolas and thighs it's Photoshop or similar app thing.
It's a case of selecting areas with the given tools and tweaking them until you're happy, same with the face. Photo manipulation tools are your only option really. Unless the dreaded AI can work some magic.

For the breasts color, you can try
Breast Utilities 2 for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Females (CORRECT LINK)

I'm pretty sure it can help you darken the area without affecting the rest of the skin

Looks like a good product but I it's not available.

As for photoshop, I tried that (photopea, it's a free copy online) but it never comes perfect. I'll try again. Just to be clear, the only thing I need to modify are the layers D and SSS right? I usually create a layer and apply that same layer to both

Edit: Yeah, zero talent. The areolas look terrible. I tried to use feathering but I don't seem to know how to use it properly. Then the anatomical elements are even worse. I can seem to darken only the vulva and the crack behind

In Photoshop you can select any area you like and do with it what you want. It was a steep learning curve but it works.

Speaking of skins. Is there a way to revive older ones from, let's say, the genesis 3 series, or no?

In what way? I converted some Gen 3 skins to G9 a while back. they looked good although I had to borrow maps from other characters to make the skin PBR. Gen 3 to gen 8 is an easy transfer.

I meant some textures from that time look rather bland compared to now, and I was wondering if there was a way to rejuvenate them.

Tried it, don't bother. Some look good in the promo but are in fact low quality made to look good with the magic of Photoshop.

I'd figured as much. Like during its time, the Lilith 7 mat was one of my favs. It would've been nice if it got "updated". I remember Anagord updated some of their Gen 3 models for the Gen 8 series. It would've been nice if that trend continued. Oh, well, wishful thinking.

I used to throw Anagenesis on everything, but I haven't used it in a while. Used to do miracles with old skins

Some of the well known PA's on DAZ have given up on the finer detail we once knew :/
