I have bought an exo-skeleton delight that comes with a Fbx (general) and Duf format (for Daz).
However, the dufs are bound to an absolute path, type "C: User / XXXXXXX / desktop / My folder ..", not relative.
It is a serious mistake of the author.
Do I have to edit that manually or is there a faster way to do it?
It is quite tedious, since the paths are of many letters ... (Almost a 1 Gb ..!)

But, almost, I re-link the textures, etc... Is very bad work to translate to duf, but I try , next year( đ ) to do.Arf! So hard!!! It have textures like "D:\ZBruzh content\my Projects_And_ .....". I dont get how think this bizarre vendor !!! Some bitmap textures miising, but I dont know if its affects the render... I have the Ghaterer , but, the vendor have repiclas of textures... And the FBX, dont help much: Just the simple difusse/color map.
Edit the paths in Notepad ++, and DSON editor. What a shit! đ@legolas18

Does it have a read me with the file structure/folder layout or if not can you do a directory and file print and PM it to me and i will have a look to see if there are any obvious mistakes.
Have you tried recreating the file structure that the .DUF is looking for, just as a work around too get you going ??

Tell the creator that you'll give the item a one star if he doesn't at least try and fix it. That usually gets their attention.
