    I have encountered the same problem many times. My only solution was to mount the hair or piece of clothing on a G8, change the materials, and then fit to the G3 figure. You may want to save the materials as Material Presets if you are planning on going back again in the future.

    @nahixoc, good tip, thanks.

    Interesting fix. Wonder if you could mount it to a skullcap off another hair.

    @nahixoc, the fix works - but once the hair (Romantic Curly Hair/by Linday btw.) is moved (Fit "hair" to the G3 character), the original (G8) Iray Shaders presets/Initial Shapes don´t work any longer. :/

    This is strange. I am not familiar with the product, so I haven't encountered that problem yet.

    If the problem, as you say, lies with the shader, have you tried saving the different shaders as individual shader presets from the one fit to the G8 and reapplying them to the one fit to the G3?
