Yep. Had the same when I first arrived at Zone.

Some users prefer not to post stuff for all because they end up on other sites.
Instead they prefer to share among a few members here.

But you never know, some asking might just be taking those items to a VIP only cave away from Zone.

Yeah, I've talked to one person a while back who I'm pretty sure is legit.

This one seemed less legitimate as they had almost zero history on this site.

Still, I'm not a fan of the idea. If people don't share, or there's a barrier to entry, this site stops being useful.

I'm sure some are legit but if they have an almost zero history I wouldn't dish out anything in private either. The same goes for friends requests.

HOWEVER, the original post is screenshots of actual members communicating @aslag and another person. So far, @aslag is the only one that was contacted. Perhaps you should IM @Tomsk. Personally, I think ZoneGFX is set up well and ran professionally. Heck, this is the only social network that I even communicate with; did the youtubing, did the facebooking and did the twittering. Nothing but mostly persons complaining and not actually accomplishing or motivating any revolution. ZoneGFX inspires me to revolt against my procrastinating and my hording at the same time.
