It loads fine. There are Poser props that are called for. They are for license plates. Other than that, there are some references for textures. Ultimately it does load.
February 25, 2021 at 8:38 AM #1669654NICE! I'm interested for sure
February 25, 2021 at 8:44 AM #1669655I'd need .obj format files myself though, if you end up uploading these, will .obj be included?
Also, I can't quite place that slick looking blue car in the back row right next to the Chrysler Airflow right now...What is it? A Bristol?
February 25, 2021 at 8:45 PM #1669820Hi Nick, that's a 1937 BMW 327 Cabriolet. It's originally in .fbx format which can be imported into DS. Sorry no .obj for this. I have included both the fbx and the .duf. Happy motoring.
February 26, 2021 at 2:05 AM #1669861Thanks for sharing Frank21!

February 26, 2021 at 8:01 PM #1670020Here's another one. Oldsmobile 88 Futuramic Convertible 1949.
Files - obj, fbx and duf.
February 26, 2021 at 8:10 PM #1670022@frank22 Did that already have the materials applied or did you have to do that by hand after the fact?
February 26, 2021 at 8:11 PM #1670023Thanks, Frank.
These are looking good.
🙂February 26, 2021 at 8:15 PM #1670024Bacon - I applied Iray shaders for the body and glass etc. I think you get a selection of shaders that come with the DS install, glass, paint etc. Not sure.
February 26, 2021 at 8:21 PM #1670027Yes i'm interested
Thank to share your workFebruary 27, 2021 at 3:41 AM #1670079A Buick this time. The 1938 Buick Y-Job concept car that was not mass-produced for sale.
Files - obj, fbx and duf.

Four down 7 to go.

Edit - I've separated material zones for several parts like the steering wheel and horn. So if you use the duf those zones should still be available for shaders/tectures. In the next post I'll include the licence plates and some texture for them.
February 27, 2021 at 6:17 AM #1670087These are nice looking. I'm looking forward to the rest of them.
February 27, 2021 at 6:39 AM #1670093After the cars I've also got about 50 low-rez Renderpeople saved as .duf files. They've got highly detailed textures with normal/specular maps and are great for low-resource background (un-posable) people for renders. I'll finish the cars first. I feel I need to contribute more because I've downloaded a hell of a lot of stuff from this site.
February 27, 2021 at 7:02 AM #1670095Thanks for sharing. Looking forward for low-rez people.
