This is the first time I have ever seen Daz original HD morphs available for a base character.

Does it signify an admission that merchants are more interested in character packs for the base character, rather than the endless Pro pack variants?

Seeing as how everyone has or needs the base character to use anything, Its a smart move. Pretty much has a target audience of anyone that uses G8F. I mostly get the random characters for specific morphs or textures and rarely use the character as it comes.

I certainly agree it is a smart move.
It always struck me as a no brainer they should be doing that from the time of Genesis 1 though.
I suppose their perception was that they should milk the sub bases as much as possible.

Male-M3Dia and Lyoness have been doing morph packs like this for years from G3M/F and G8M/F without skins or stuff like that. And even the Male-M3Dia guys have HD genitalia morphs which normally Daz doesn't allow except from a Published Artist. I buy all those sets because they are well done and work on every base figure, and expand what I can do.

So we will see if Daz does more of this in the future.

Recently the additional characters from the PAs with the Daz Originals have been a bit on the thin side, maybe Genesis 9 isn't ready yet so they are trying to drag Genesis 8 out a bit more.

Agreed Adam. I almost always morph characters. The only ones I leave pretty much as is are the celebrity series characters from DC.
