@reinecarola I am aware of that. I was talking about people just outright upping to the blog. You can't see the posts 'waiting for approval' for that. Anytime I upload a file, I make sure to check in the requests section to see if it's waiting for approval or if it's going to the blog at a certain date.
@yanoma As far as I'm aware, posting something that has been shared around via a private group is fine. And most of those secret fillers never post the item to the blog anyway. They're not exactly playing by the rules, as they're sharing privately between themselves, without the knowledge of the mods or admin. I was referring to those who fill the requests legitimately and choose not to post. People who do that are usually just hyper vigilant that they don't get caught participating in piracy, but if you request the filled item again, those people are certain to fill it.
As for the under the table sharing; there's no way to police it, and those people really don't have a right to dictate what can or cannot be shared; it's not as if people are mind readers and aware of what was and was not shared privately.
The deal is people filling bounties then not posting it publicly.
Theyll hold the asset for weeks and fill it again if another bounty pops up.
If a person tries to fill it 3 weeks later they'll claim shenanigans and throw a hissy fit.
The rules were supposedly changed to anything filled but not shared in a specific time frame was fair game to be posted publicly

@ulysses Yep; I know - I really messed that up, but in my defence, I'd been awake for over thirty hours when I typed that. I'm sure you undersand what it was that I was attempting to say...
All of this is the reason I hate the idea of requests as it's been implemented. I wish we would have an open discussion (again) about this and see if we can't come up with something that works better and isn't more work for the mods. We have a hundred and fifty-something pages of requests going back 15 months. These will probably never be filled as it stands.
Part of the reason is people disenchanted with not being worshiped for sharing.
Another part is people not feeling appreciated for sharing.
Yet another aspect is people moving to AI.
Even another reason is G9 sux and people are just fine with what they currently have.
Im sure there's other reasons but while there were problems in the past with different aspects of sharing here, I don't recall it being this sad.
I dropped out of sharing and while I might want others to share, I don't blame them for not caring anymore. Its obvious that this devolved from a relatively active community to a warehouse pickup center.
