It's all for G8F, it's all undress morphs, and I'm looking for skirt, shirt, stockings. I don't even know if there are any out there but if YOU have found any, let me know?

    Ta very kindly 🙂

Hello, I'm not sure I understand your question properly. Do you mean something like this, for example?

The hurdle here is that morphs are unique to the meshes they are designed for. With practice, Marvelous Designer can be used to create undress morphs for most clothing...at least most clothing that has been created half way decently.

That's my problem, useless with external software. I've done my best with Google but I don't see anything for stockings on/off. There are some skirt and shirt morphs but the majority are t-shirts or mini skirts.

If anybody spots anything let me know 🙂

Chris Cox's stuff over at Daz usually carries a lot of nice dress / undress morphs.
I think that option gives a lot more versatility to a clothing item.

What I really like are fasteners that actually 'work' , hasps, zips buttons etc.
Short of that, as a fall back it is handy to have a 'closed' and an 'open' model.
What I find really frustrating is where you have a nicely detailed fastener of whatever type & it doesn't function.

'Fit Control' can give some usable or even good dynamic morphs, but it can be a bit hit or miss, depending on the design of the garment.

Also, dforce can be your friend regarding undressing. It takes some practice, but it can help.

It used to take me forever to do a simulation, so now I...

1.) eliminate (make not visible in simulation) body parts, clothing, hair, and/or anything else not relevant to the simulation. If not, EVERYTHING in the scene is calculated.

2.) reduce the item to be simulated to base resolution and set the simulation setting to 'good' rather than the default 'better'.

3.) practice adjusting the controls for better draping results.

4.) pose the figure and then invert/rotate the figure to guide the clothing to fall up/back/left/right as necessary.

dforce can also help to reduce or eliminate the fucking wrinkles vendors are modeling into the clothing these days.

I appreciate that is an option, but I never use dforce, myself.
I find it time consuming and it doesn't repeat well.
Better to have a dynamic morph that can be dialled in quickly & repeatably.

    🙂

To go slightly off topic, but you mention an important point.
Whilst there are exceptions, I feel that then general quality of G9 clothing items is not as good as the standard was on G8, by a noticeable margin.

    🙁

Agreed with eelgoo. Working buttons, clasps, hooks, etc would be great. I keep hoping Sickleyield comes up with something. I messaged her about it once and she said she might look into it. That as a few years ago so I don't think it's coming (at least not from her).

Glad to be of help. I can't think of many other assets... Maybe this one, even if it's not exactly what you asked for?

Why not use Fit Control? In addition to a lot of fitting morphs, it has a lot of morphs to do things like drop trou, raise skirts and shirts, etc and etc.

It also has version for every Genesis figure from 1 - 9. The later versions have more morphs to do more things (Genesis 8 and 9 have the most flexibility.)

I've also just found Mystique 2 for Genesis 8 Female(s) which has stocking morphs! And it's available here on the Zone 🙂
