This is nothing new and they're not the only ones. Everyone from game companies to image hosts to social media platforms has tried to steal/borrow/use your/our media. Usually it's hidden in the back of a user agreement update as they try to sneak it in. Thankfully there's lots of folks who carefully read these things as they occur and scream bloody murder. You'd think businesses would wise up since they're ALWAYS found out and shown for the greedy thieves that they are but nooooooo, they keep trying.
A predictable result and extension of the subscription model where they have you by the balls. I use a portable version of After Effects blocked in and out by the firewall so it doesn't affect me. No wonder piracy is so popular.

@frank22, I saw that. I usually go through the latest uploads at Civitai once a day. Are software companies all collectively going stupid?
No not stupid, just the business model of commercial enterprises, ie. sell what you have for as much as you can get for it and obfuscate the T&Cs in the fine print and reel in another sucker..... one born every minute.
