I fall onto the lurker side of things but at the start of this new year I wanted to say thank you to everyone who shares and uploads; as well as everyone who is an active member of this place.
I'm disabled and have been for a very long time (which put me in a financially uncertain position) and have severe nerve damage in my hands and limbs. I stopped being able to hold a pen over a 15 years ago and wasn't able to move to CG art for financial reasons. The only reason I can entertain it as a hobbyist now is because of this place.
It means the world to me that I'm still able to artistically express myself in some sort of way. I feel like people should know they help and they're doing something good. You're all great. I hope the new year treats everyone well.

@randoartist82, glad to have you in the community. If you ever feel up to it, you should share your stuff in the forum. Would love to see your work.
@RandoArtist82 I know how you feel. I was a tattoo artist for 20 plus years with arthritis its now so bad I can't hold my machines up to do it anymore. Gave them to a good friend that has surpassed my skills he and his girlfriend will get good use from them. I am a disabled veteran been fighting for service connected and they keep screwing me around hope they pull their heads out of their butts at sometime.
I do this to express my art too. pushing 70 years old got to stay busy I hope to see you here for a very long time. Thanks for sharing your story.
