I downloaded this file yesterday from the blog and today my computer gave me a notification that it included a Trojan Horse virus (wacatac or something). Anyone else who has downloaded this that can confirm this? I'm a bit scared, this is the first time I get a virus on my computer (in a few years).

I checked it with malwarebytes and Avast and didn't flag anything. Which program flagged it as Trojan?

It was windows defender that gave the notification, I downloaded it again on another computer and it gave the same message but then instantly. (Luckily that other computer isn’t very important.

Yeah, I guess. Any recommendations? Normally I always scan everything or try not to download from fishy sites, but it seems like I got caught this time. I've been scanning with Malwarebytes for 8 hours now, hasn't found anything else yet as of now. I'm also sure that this will be my last download on this site. I'll buy everything I want instantly now, instead of trying it out first via this site.

I have used AVG and Malwarebytes for decades and they haven't failed me yet.

Windows Defender has lots of false positives, and I cannot even edit the settings on it anymore since the last series of Windows 10 updates. I rely on software that I know works.

I couldn't really find very much on the message I got. It said Trojan:Script wacatac.m!bl or something. But I mostly find things were the script part is replaced with win32. So maybe it's also a false positive, I've been scanning for so long and still nothing. I'll give AVG a try. I normally only use Windows Defender because I "think" I'm using my brain when surfing, but maybe I just slipped up today. Hopefully it was just a false positive.
