Real time ray tracing is critical to fully immersed game playing. If this comes about as promised, you'll be able to storm the beaches of Normandy on D-Day with 100 other players and the GPU will be showing what everyone is doing in real time as you look around the scene in your headset. Revolutionary if it comes about, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Of course. Just tell the the AI 'Render The Hunger Games 6 and stream it to my TV' and you can enjoy your own movie. Likely with the option to give hints to the AI how to progress.

Or even better ask the AI to build a real arena for 12 countries to take part. In ten years there are hopefully robots to build it and to select the volunteers. 😉

We will see whether the GPUs scale better than the CPUs and how much AI people want to use.
