No surprise for me @Plebby. Your entry was one of my favourites.... dynamic, great characters and wonderful expressions.

Man, what a blast.

Congratulations to everyone. This seemed like a big up for the entire involvement and good for the place in general, front to back. I'm really grateful and honored to have placed. And thanks to all for the wonderful and positive comments. As mentioned elsewhere, was nervous and pensive as a first entry, and especially so far outside my normal wheelhouse - and "against" such other great submissions, no less. The creativity and execution in these was fantastic. So many great ideas and attention to detail made it super fun and intriguing. I especially liked the "apocalypto" types of contributions. Completely different level of depth and storytelling. Super cool. Just wow.

@lucafeelgood Congratulations on a great event. Your hard work and diligence are greatly appreciated, and really paid off. Thank you for the consideration and the points. Don't be surprised if they end up contributed back into an event to keep the upward spiral going. (Though, admittedly, spending some will be fun.) Also just want to say what a unique and equitable way to distribute the appreciation and winnings. I, too, would have had a seriously difficult time boiling down to a singular winner in this bunch, and this approach made a lot of sense, with many contributors receiving due accolades for their work. Unifying and great.

What a great way to usher in the next season. Thanks and congratulations to everyone!

Thanks for the contest as always and thanks for any points donations.

The contests are nice to help inspire us. It helps break us out of the routine we might normally get into. They also motivate me to do better after seeing others work. We get to see some great art that would otherwise never be posted. It takes a few community members to rally the troops since apparently contest support has fallen off managements radar.
