dForce Classic Roman Armor for Genesis 8 Male
This is the third in my series of the Roman legions, the Lorica Segmentata. Formed from overlaping steel bands, the Segmentata was cheaper to manufacture and gave superior protection from impact weapons than the Lorica Hamata. The Segmentata is the armor usually featured in popular media for the Legions, and is appropriate for both historical and fantasy renders.
The plates on the Segmantata shoulder piece are rigid, but can be adjusted to prevent clipping with most poses. The tunic and subarmalis are dForce enabled to give a more realistic fit. Because the shoulder and chest pieces are rigid to prevent distortion on very muscular figures, there may be clipping in the upper chest region. This can minimized by slightly dialing back the body morph, or corrected in postwork.
