The Alien Heavy Weapon was originally built as a mobile asteroid mining drill. A happy accident revealed that it was equally effective at killing hover tanks, so the high command commissioned it as a weapon. The oversized artifact at its core not only powers the awesome destructive capabilities of this goliath of a weapon but it also generates an anti-gravity field allowing for easy operation with a light touch. Now that makes for some convenient murder!
Speaking of oversized, the Heavy Weapon comes with twelve texture sets, no extra purchase required. That is more than any of the other Alien Weapons right out of the box. Each texture set includes a "battle-scarred" variation for a total of twenty-four unique looks.
