Today I kind of accidentally stumbled on hundreds of Daz/Poser torrents that I had stored away on an old drive I used to use. I think most of these came from 'Kick Ass' back in the days when it was supreme. Just for the hell of it I loaded up a few and to my great surprise a lot of them were still active, I even managed to replace stuff which over the years has gone missing for some reason or another and when you see it you think 'Oh yea, I used to use that quite a lot'. Any way, cutting to the chase, Do you think there will be enough interest in some of this stuff these days? If so I could probably make some kind of list of all these torrents and if anyone wanted to try and get some of the stuff I can send the torrent to you, this would be a considerable list and it'll take some time to list everything plus of course, I can not guarantee that any particular torrent will still be active. What do you think guys ? Is it something you may be interested in ? If enough people fancy having a look I'll try to get a full list together of what it is I have.
February 3, 2019 at 4:09 AM #945863I just joined but one of the few things I have read around was people angry about a deluge of ancient stuff getting uploaded and clogging the site.
Let's be honest, I doubt there's many people interested in getting Aiko 3 stuff around.
If you find something that's really vanished and is still valuable/unique just upload it to the blog.
February 3, 2019 at 4:41 AM #945887Well that's easier said than done, out of over 1200 torrents how do I know what people will class as being 'valuable' ?
And I'm certainly not going to sit here and re-download 1200 torrents just to try and find one thing that people might want.February 3, 2019 at 4:59 AM #945898Then just zip them up and upload them and let people take a look at what's there for themselves.
February 3, 2019 at 8:27 AM #946057I used to be very active on KAT & it would be quite nostalgic, but TBH I doubt you would get many of those links to complete now.
As SRM says perhaps upload the zip file & put the link in the free section.
Whilst I wouldn't be interested in them myself, you may find that there are a few folk who might want to give it a whirl.🙂
February 3, 2019 at 9:14 PM #946783@jon157uk I myself would be VERY interested! I just lost my entire collection. 4TB worth! It would be nice to get some of it back.
February 4, 2019 at 5:54 AM #947216OK... It will probably be a couple of days to sort everything out and get them into .zip or .rar but I'll get on it as soon as possible and post a link up for you.
February 4, 2019 at 8:41 AM #947407Thank you so much! Take your time my friend, that is going to be a hell of a lot of work! I really appreciate you making the offer. I have tried to recover my data that I lost, but WINDOWS won't recognize the drive. I effing HATE windows!

February 4, 2019 at 1:30 PM #947653Yeah, I'd appreciate a link to that as well, when it gets done - old assets, and obscure assets, can be very hard to get a hold of, unless you're lucky to find someone who has that exact asset, and KAT used to be great for DAZ content.
February 4, 2019 at 2:19 PM #947690Just create a list of those torrents and let people download what they want. That way its not clogging the site and you would not need to download everything either, also you would have a list of working torrents that someone may still be interested in.
February 4, 2019 at 2:51 PM #947727Id like to see you get points for your effort.
Id also like to see old stuff but rather not have
600 pages that I have to filter through to get a newer upload.Perhaps there is a happy middle ground.
February 4, 2019 at 6:15 PM #947948I have a lot of stuff from old torrents, also zipped away on a hard drive.
Perhaps a separate "request" section for older content wouldn't go amiss.
February 4, 2019 at 6:57 PM #947984There is certainly some older stuff that I would like to get my hands on, such as some of the Morphtactic models like square cliff which are all now NLA as well as older 1971s models that haven't made it up, like Iron Rock as an example. I'd certainly be interested in any info on these and would send points to people have ones that I'm looking for.
February 4, 2019 at 7:21 PM #948018Hitesh - A full list of the torrents I have found really would not be practical to do.
1 - It would take me days to sit and type out a list this length.
2 - It would be a huge list to post here to the group.
3 - I can not of course guarantee which, or how many of these torrents are still active.
So far I have been very lucky and of the ones I've tried, out of 11 only 2 failed.
When I got home from work this evening I started trying to put them into groups, I.E. - V4, Genesis, Gen2, Gen3 ..etc, etc. There also seems to be quite a few that relate to Props, Morphs, Environment and Shaders.
I'll continue putting these together and I'll post up my results as soon as possible. I'm glad this my be of some help to some of you guys.February 4, 2019 at 9:16 PM #948123@jon157uk hey mate, IMHO I think that this project is just too much to take on.
I am in no way saying you couldn't do it... I mean it is obvious that you can and are willing to do it, but I think it is just going to give you major headaches.
Don't gets me wrong as it is a great offer.Besides, IMHO nobody will appreciate all that work you did anyways.
I hope that you don't find any of this offensive because that is not my intention.
