Today I tried to download 3 items from Mediafire, and with all 3 i got an "Unable to connect" error. 2 were with Firefox and 1 with Chrome. I was able to download 1 eventually.
Is anyone else having the same problem?
Looks like the problem is my VPN.
My VPN is also preventing Mediafire from opening up a popup.

VPN or not, I find them incredibly slow - sub 100k, most of the time.
Also had ones that drop out at 80% or so, especially large files.
Really helpful after already waiting over an hour, and wasting data usage.
Just wish everyone would stick to Mega.Never had those above problems. I like Mediafire. Mega is good too but easier to get copyrighted stuff taken down.
I've never had an issue with Mediafire, except the odd blocked upload which a rename usually fixes. I've had a (free) Mega account taken away from me though which was really damn annoying and one of the reasons I don't use Mega for everything.
If you have an issue with downloads timing out I would suggest getting a download manager so that your downloads can be resumed and you don't waste your "data" if you have a cap.
I really believe in Mega. To me it seems faster with no ads.
I pay about $12 / month for 1 TB on Mega. Do I need it? No. I started it when I made a higher wage. The excuse was that I may... some day... in the future... before I die... need it for the graphic novel I am creating. Well... I have about 3/4 of one chapter done... so it might be some day needed - at least I hope! 🙂
