Hi,
I hadn't logged in for a while and wanted to redownload all my purchases from this website. Even though all my purchases are still in my "Points History"-list, when I click to go to the page, I have to re-buy the download link with points. Is this supposed to be the case?
yup. i think they are on a 30 day reset.
Ive no idea why it can keep track of your points but not keep the link open.
There's more to the enablement and validation of a download link then a one line entry in the log file. If Mods didn't have the site DB set to flush every 30 days, then the database would get too large, making the site run slower and slower until it just takes 10 minutes to open each page to validate if you have enabled the link or not. And you didn't purchase anything, you traded your points for a link, just to be clear, cuz there is nothing for sale here.
