Wow!....I went spelunking in my passwords folder and deep down, stuffed in a dark and foreboding crevice was my ancient Bunkr login. And it still works!
If someone sends me version 2 of that Universal Product Installer, I'll clean out the old fossils in my Bunkr account and stick the file in there and share it here.

Someone sent it to me and I'm uploading it as I type.
errrrrr...Bunkr SAYS it's uploading but after letting it run overnight there's been no progress.
Are there other takedown proof file hosts? I could share it via Emule. This has been bomb proof for decades.

It seems that renaming the file worked. The file is now called "Kittens&Puppies.zip
    I just submitted the post.
Let me know how the downloads go...or don't.

Hello, I'll probably give it a try, but I think I'll stick with manual install because I have acquired the habit of changing the original files' folder structure to something that makes more sense to me before installing anything and, after that, it's just copy and paste. When I was a 100% noob (now only 90%) I threw everything wherever any lunatic vendor had decided to place it, and here I am now, tidying up my chaotic runtime for weeks with no end in sight. Not only each vendor does whatever he wants, but also quite a few single vendors vary they criteria back and forth for no apparent reason. It's maddening.

    Best regards,

I like UPI but, don't use it to install assets. What I find it great for is editing metadata and adding images to products that might now have them. My workflow for adding new products

    1. If it is from the official DAZ store, just use DIM
    2. If it is from any other store, rename the zip to the products name as it appears in the store.
    3. Run it through DAZPackager to make it a DIM compliant zip with metadata. (This makes it viewable in Smart Content)
    4. Use DIM to install it
    5. Find it in UPI and add images/add store and vendor metadata, hit update in UPI and voila, everything is viewable in Smart Content so I never have to look at any vendor's terrible folder structures again.

This way also makes it easier to view products in other content libraries that use metadata to sort etc. I think UPI is very useful, probably my second favorite "library" app for DAZ after EZFinder.

I see why some people choose to manual install but, after seeing some of the folder structures used by vendors and how tedious it is to me to go through the Content Library, I'll pass.

Unless you address the chaos, it only gets worse every time you use a vendor's dim install unchecked. :0/
