I ask this question because as of late I've been getting more and more messages from people regarding fills that they've missed.
Does the average member at least make an effort to login once a day?
If so, that would help them substantially when it comes to getting fills they've put points towards. Expecting links to stay valid for long periods of time is redundant. There are people asking for links from fills that are over 2 months old.
Gotta check those emails.
I have fills and posts that are YEARS old and active.

At one point in Bunk a few weeks ago, I deleted over 300 files.
It was taking me forever to upload.
My thinking was that I could fill the old requests from
my "repository"
Then I found out people were converting my file to theirs and
posting either for points or public.
No problem
Deleted the 300 files.
If you fill a request anon (not public) there is no time
limit on how long you must keep the files.
I asked a moderator and he suggested 5 days (suggested!!!)
So I am using that as a "guideline".
But if I suspect that the link is being misused I will delete it.

Thank you for the chance to expoundIm usually here every day or at least a few times a week, but sometimes I can be engrossed in a class or busy with work or other projects and I just stop being super active online for weeks or months at a time.
I have requests that I requested like months and months ago, if I missed out on one of those obscure things getting filled I would be pretty upset, especially if the person who filled it refused to send an updated link.
A lot of the original members here [and a number of newer ones] usually have no problem in providing a link if they still have it active [ a few others - not so helpful].
The old request system was better in that respect as there was usually a point of contact straight to the filler, so easy to PM your requests.The problem with the new request system is it puts your points at risk if the link is unusable for you.
It might be a working link for the majority of members but, as a number of threads have shown, there are certain sites that a number of members have issues with - or they are just unable to access those links [permanent connection errors].
This means that if the filler will not provide an alternative link you are likely to also ne refused the points return [and this means not 50 points lost but 500 and up - even several thousand].
So you get no link and someone gets points rich.Bofadeez
To be clear I am one of the persons who would
not send an updated link.
I do not live to serve.A lot of the original members were probably not getting
hosed, also they are probably not filling requestsAny moderator for any reason can deduct points from
me.
If anyone wants a refund go to them.

Idk I have some obscure stuff on my request list, when I get some stuff paid off I might fill it all myself, I’d just hate to miss out on something that’s not available anymore because the one person that bought it before it was delisted doesn’t want to update the link :/

In the meantime, because you have nothing better to do, you drop by,

Buy a few item, post a few items....then we can discuss helpful.You do know that Vendors like 3DUK and HevieState3D do sweeps, right? Meaning that posting links on sites like Mega or Mediafile is going to get the links removed. So a site like Bunkr is great to have as a alternative for me.
But to answer your previous question about dated fills. It's not hard nor is it too much to ask for to login in your account especially if you know you have multiple fills out there. If I can work a 9-5, take care of family and still find time to login daily then so should anyone else.
I takes a few minutes, if that, to check emails.
