Is there anyway to rejoin a conversation after I click exit?

I foolishly got a message about a request, then opened the link (which was dead, but in another browser tab) so I exited the conversation, now there's no way back into that conversation....

Things used to be a bit simpler before the exit conversation button existed, I didn't get notifications for every reply in a chain, so I didn't mind having 100 filled request messages sitting...

Yes, this was foolish of me, but I can't even lookup who filled it to dm them to offer them points for a new link, because all the information about the request appears to be gone from my messages/notifications 🙁
