Doing a render that has a beer can. Of course, the can is metallic. If I take away metallicity, there's no problem, but suddenly the beer can doesn't reflect anything like it should. Looks more like polished aluminum on the silver parts. If I don't, there's this weird black spot on the can that makes no sense given the lighting. How do you fix this?
Also, how do you fix light bouncing off a surface and seeing a bunch of right angles and squares when it should just be a natural curve.
For frame of reference, because I know it matters with Daz and Daz assets, the x access is about -1200 away from the center. I'm getting square and rectangular off a shirt curving around a dude's back in different shades and a black blob on the beer can. Ever encountered this problem?
