I never understood the charm of clothing convertors in general. As long as you can get a projection map for a figure, the clothing item works quite well. I can auto-fit clothing from V4, G1, G2, G3, and G8 onto Genesis 8. I should try and see if G9 clothing will fit.
A projection map exists for G9 to wear G-anything, so why not in the opposite direction?
The only time it really makes sense is for the really off-the-wall old Poser stuff, like Apollo Max, NearMe, Miki, and similar. I have and use CrossDresser for that though.

I don't know if it is telling to any degree, but another hint is this.
Despite abandoning G8F characters some while ago, with a stream of G9 bland, Thwaites is featuring an old G8F model on his landing page.

Yes, it is only the occasional G9 head & the odd body here & there that hit the mark.

Question: is Daz3D (the company/store) prohibiting artists from publishing new G8/G8.1 assets? Seems like I haven't seen new characters for quite a while...
They have a tendency to be over protective of whatever half-assed products that they are pushing at the time.
When they launched G8 there were lots of people pressing for RSA to provide a legacy character converter from V4 direct to G8F.
Daz authorities had allowed iterations from Genesis 1 ( V5 ), G2F & G3F because quantity wise there wouldn't be a mass of content; but apparently they nixxed the V4 version because they knew there were a massive amount of V4 characters in peoples libraries, that might compromise G8 sales.NFTs & now G9.
I think it is highly likely they are delibrately suppressing any G8F content to try to force G9 onto folk.
I'm not budging on this one.
There are plenty of sources of content for the IMO superior G8 base.Now they seem to think that social media is going to save them. That survey was hilarious and I took the opportunity to give them a blast.
They are looking for a pat on the back.
I suspect what they are getting is a cow pat in the face!

Aha....they'll look for someplace that's discussing Daz then flood it with their own positive comments. That won't go well as most folks will see through it and that asshole Haseltine won't be able to delete stuff he doesn't like. I'll be watching for him/them in Reddit.
They honestly aren't releasing anything worthwhile for G9 when it comes to characters, I miss the different types of characters that V4/M4 had.
With G9 we got the strong high def details without the large amount of different types of personalities to actually be able to utilize all of it.
