There is a little green banner, I tell folks in my asset description that I am using Bunkr, but folks won't read and can't seem to figure things out for themselves.
Drastic times call for drastic measures.
lol, yeah the banner didn't help much so far, but a flash banging banner would just punish the others 😀
I feel that we should have a special avatar for those unable to follow simple instructions or figure this stuff out. Anyone seeing that person is then free to ignore them. Or we could simply ban them.

Something needs to be tweaked with this... people who don't read, don't follow directions are hitting the dead post button even though the links work....
Are they then automatically moved to the dead post category?

Can we lighten up on the automatic dead post stuff until we can train downloaders to read and follow directions?
I think we should just ban them. We're now over 30K members, surely we can afford to dump some waste.
Its mostly new folks that don't know any better.... I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water...
Me thinks that, because there are so many posts, and so few mods... some of this is automated (correct me mods if wrong).
So, if x people report xyz asset as being dead, then it automatically goes into the dead asset folder.
I've volunteered in the past (via pms) to the mods to offer help... checking broken links or going through old blog posts, but it must of not been needed......
Bunkr uses many different servers... and sometimes, the asset you want is on a server that is under maintenance.
if you get a "500 error" or anything other than the twerking taco, there either a problem on 'your end', or the particular server that the item is hosted on is temporarily down.

https://status.bunkr.ru/Now, if you want something from a bunkr link, and the server is down... you can't get it... UNTIL the server is back up. You can mash on the REPORT post... and notify the up loader... but probably by the time anything can be done, the server will be back up anyway.
(But since the post was flagged, chances are, the asset will automatically be put in the dead post folder despite the fact that the link is working 🙁
I think I gotta just transition away from bunkr... It seems to be one problem after another with them. Get what you pay for I guess.....
Currently, bunkr downloads are being flagged by your virus software. I redownloaded some and got a warning, but then ran them through some different virus checks and they came up clean, but you shouldn't have to deal with that...
Sigh.
Just hasn't been my week for Zone drama.
It is truly frustrating that they report links JUST BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM bunkr AND THEY DO NOT READ the banner that is on the blog.🤬
