I've somehow managed to install a morph that's messing with my G8 characters mouths and it's loading with every G8 and set at 100% by default. It looks like it's come from using the XTransfer G3-G8 script, but I can't for the life of me find the .dsf for it.

    Screenshot of morph dial.

Any help in tracking down and either removing or forcing the default value to be 0% rather than 100% would be most appreciated!

Hmmmm... Better use "DSON editor" or "Morph Organizer for DAZ Studio" (here, in "Da zone..", for search "undesirable" morphs. Then, after delete, save the .duf.

I didn't need to resort to any 3rd party software to fix it.

    To identify the offending .dsf:
Right-click on morph slider for the morph you want to edit/remove, select edit mode.
Right-click again, choose 'Set' then 'Value(s)'
    Change default values to 0.
    Right-click, deselect Edit mode.

File -> Save as -> Support Asset -> Save Modified Assets.
A window will pop up listing the .dsf files about to be overwritten along with their paths (but not which runtime they're in). Ignore the /data/Daz 3D/Genesis 8/Female/Genesis8Female.dsf entry.
If you just want to reset the morph, click OK and save the changes, otherwise make a note of the file path for the .dsf file(s).

If you want to delete the morph completely, open a file browser, navigate to the path above in each of your runtimes until you find the morph .dsf file and delete it (or better/safer, change the extension from .dsf to .bak).

I chose to keep the morph installed with altered default settings as I've got a bunch of characters saved as scene subsets and they give the 'file not found' error when loading them if I rename/delete the offending file and I can't be bothered to load and re-save each and every one.

If you have difficulty finding out whats affecting your base model, I go into

Help / Troubleshooting / view log file

delete everything in the log and save.

Reload the base model with no morphs applied and then read the log.

Anything that's applied is usually near the end of the text log. Deleted what doesn't belong by seeing where its filed or search for its name. Feel free to try and fix it if its something you really want but Ive got to much stuff to worry about fixing something that the creator fked up.
