October 13, 2022 at 5:21 PM #1877059Texture bump/normals great on this. Side or rim light really raises the depth. Great, realistic portrait. Realize the intent is a B&W presentation, but would be great to see a color version. Bet it holds up to the suspension of disbelief.
October 13, 2022 at 7:50 PM #1877086OMG! This is soooo gooood! What a details! The pose, the lights and everything. After this and after your beautiful avatar you are my favorite artist on this site. I'm really like portraits and I have a lot. So I'm just said, this is beat my level. You are better than me in the afterwork. And I'm so happy to see something similar than my works. 🙂
October 13, 2022 at 10:23 PM #1877122This is great. Must have taken you ages to get the hair perfectly draped over the arms like that.. or I just suck at dforce.
October 14, 2022 at 12:14 AM #1877149Spectacular work @Enjoyify and I'm getting a bit of an Emma Watson vibe from her. While visually it's quite a simple image your attention to details makes it something quite special. If you take care of the small things, the big things take care of themselves.

@Spats I'm rendering a color version of this character right now. I'll post it when it's done. Unfortunately I removed the saturation in the original render of this image, not in postwork. I can't fix it without a full re-render. A mistake on my part.
EDIT: Posted here
@Ondrej 😊
@Kefka Sometimes dForce hair works perfectly on the first try. This one just worked. But for the render I'm processing now, it took me a dozen tries (and I'm still not happy with it). dForce can be such a nightmare!
@Frank22 I agree! Focusing on the small details has made larger scenes easier for me. I'm learning exactly what takes up resources and how to make characters look good at varying distances. I'm always learning so I appreciate the feedback. (And yes, Emma was a significant inspiration for this character. 😉)October 23, 2022 at 7:49 AM #1880642I love black and white. Makes a picture always easy to look at. One is not distracted by color. You somehow look at the picture in a different way. You see more details. And if the image is also so well done... Yes then you really enjoy it. Good work enjoyify.
