I'm attempting to download this as a large single file. It's moving slowly.
Hopefully Megaload doesn't have any kind of limit of how much can be transfered/downloaded?
Just use a VPN to change IPs (even any old free one is fine). Then you can easily sidestep the bandwidth quota when you burn through it on each address.
I recommend using the MegaSync client to queue everything, sync the whole thing as a folder instead of downloading as a single archive... you won't have to worry about keeping the browser open for the duration in case you need to shut down at some point, nor worry about the nightmare of a corrupt download. A single file would ruin the whole exchange, individual files would at worst give only a single corrupt file at any point.But... why d/l everything at once? I've had that archive bookmarked for years now, I doubt it's going anywhere soon, so just d/l the items you need when you need it. It's great there's a thumbnail catalog with it too, it makes life easier 🙂
you should really use a download manager, try JDownloader2 for example. with it you can easily continue downloads from mega.nz the next day, in case you reach the limit and can't change your ip.
The Mega client makes it simple to sync a whole folder in one click. It already does what any other downloader would do, only simpler. You don't even need to "continue", it will keep streaming automatically as bandwith is freed up. Or just change IP and leave it, it will do the same thing, just keeps going without any attention needed.
free, open source ... works with all file hosting services, can download videos from youtube etc. ...
