I like to render animations overnight, but I would like to be able to automatically render the same animation again with a different camera (and possibly again from even another camera).
But I would like to do it automatically, without me having to do anything to start the next render and change cameras. Is there a script or plugin to handle this? I know there is render doctor, but that doesn't work with animations, only single frames.
Any ideas? Thanks
May 7, 2022 at 10:40 AM #1805106@gts6 You need to create a new camera, with a script for when you switch cameras. For example, if you have three different cameras, and the animation lasts 30 frames, suppose camera 1 starts at frame 0 and you want to switch to camera 2 at frame 10... You select and copy frames 0 to 10 from the cam1 (postion and rotation...) and paste them in the timeline of the new camera. Then you copy frames 11 to 20 from camera2, and paste them back into the new one from that keyframe 11, etc... But that, apart from being tedious, will be very abrupt cuts. I recommend using blender with your fbx animation from DazToBlender or Diffeomrph... You animate the camera in Blender and bake it. Then you use a mscasual script like .dsa.
Be care full with the scale. Nomaly, the bridge "official" use scale 1, then, scale the camera in blender to x,y to 100, and z 1 (EDITED) before bake....

It is more aimed to switch camera within an anim render, but can probably be used to render with different cams the same anim.Alternatively, why not just use a batch render script to successively render with one cam and the other?

The documentation states it is capable of doing exactly what I need, so I will try that first, since it is the simplest approach. If that fails, I'll try one of the other suggestions mentioned here.
Thanks again!
