So.. this isn't really a showcase item. I just wanted to post this lovely lady because baseball season started and who doesn't like baseball.
I created her years ago but I found her in my sea of harddrive data and thought I would post her. I absolutely loved her when I made her and wish I had given it more effort making it something more. I updated her to 8.1 and gave her a new hairstyle but she is basically the same foxy babe from back then. It's just a simple render with no special lighting and a product I bought today that I can't seem to convert. Oh well.. here she is:
Again, nothing special.
-Take care
EDIT: I even remember giving her a sad backstory.. WHY?!?! LOL
April 14, 2022 at 1:09 AM #1795758All good... except there's no image attached.
Edit - Ah, that's better.
I love her face in particular. Was the original a V4?
Baseball's not a thing where I live but I did do one Poser image about 10 years ago.
A naughty one I'm afraid.Costello: Look, look, look, you got a pitcher?
Abbott: Sure.
Costello: The pitcher’s name?
Abbott: Tomorrow.
Costello: You don’t want to tell me today?Great A&C banter!
April 17, 2022 at 6:02 PM #1797097Didn't notice you added more content. All I read before was:
All good… except there’s no image attached.
Edit – Ah, that’s better. So let's see. This was a Genesis 3 character I made. I came after the V4.# period and started with Genesis 1. I did download V4 from another pirate site because it was the 'ultimate version' and tried it out but soon after I started learning the basics Genesis 2 was being introduced and saw even with the naked eye that Genesis 2 was leagues better than the predecessors, then Genesis 3 didn't wow me at first but moved on eventually. So on and on we go...
I used to do those naughty renders too but I've sorta fell away from that. I do have a DA: https://www.deviantart.com/superxtramp which has some of my more adult stuff.
Surprisingly, I did just start updating again about a week ago. I found that about 20 people started to watch my profile and it all started toward the beginning of this year. Someone with a huge following must have added them to their collection.
So now I'm working on updating other characters from the softball crew, though honestly, 'Star', the girl above was my favorite.
April 17, 2022 at 6:12 PM #1797099This was my first ever render that included scenery. Gen 1 boys. Back then I always used photoshop oil paint because I sucked at lighting and was just generally unhappy with how bland my characters would look. Honestly, for the first render, I felt it was creative and thought someday I would make something worth while.
...7+ years later, I'm still working on that
April 17, 2022 at 8:50 PM #1797147I actually like the Gen 1 boys render better.
April 18, 2022 at 12:27 AM #1797213One is a scene that probably took me more than a day to set up. The other is a character conversion that took me 10 minutes with very basic lighting. \_O_/
April 19, 2022 at 3:08 PM #1797756Wow, Gen 1 guys are great. I like it... And your devia is also nice. Not really my taste, but sometimes amusing to go to places like that.
April 22, 2022 at 1:05 AM #1798722My deviant is a dumpster fire from a bygone era. I don't recommend anyone to view it.
April 25, 2022 at 9:17 PM #1800230LOL!
There are a TON of people who still use Genesis 2 from what I've seen while trolling about Kemono and other sites scrounging for goodies.
Turns out the big reason is that you can take Genesis 2 figures and import them into VirtuaMate (Not really going to bother describing what happens after that import... I don't have the app, but judging from the VirtuaMate stuff for download on F95, it's an easy guess...)
April 28, 2022 at 3:40 PM #1801297Every now and then there is a rare gem on F95. Sadly, they are far and in between and usually either a cash grab which never gets updated or they realize how difficult it is to make continuous renders with realistic / complex lighting in a timely manner and just give up.
Unfortunately I grew up with Daz and now feel stuck to the aging platform and am to reluctant / lazy to move on and learn another program.
