Is there a possibility that I could remove the navel from that character? It's a full-body standalone character without the need or requirements of any other product except for Base G8F. I like it. But I want to customize it on my preferences. The navel sticks out to me and I am looking for any way to get rid of it?
I tried deleting the morph vertices in the selected portion, unfortunately since the character is not of the original base G8F height, that part simply jumps up and deforms into a cone. Don't want to jump into blender/zbrush or anywhere of the sort unless that's the only option left. So here I am, looking for assistance in finding out that way, if there's even a way to resolve it up.

July 15, 2020 at 3:41 pm #1614822I am afraid, I haven't met it yet so far... So no, I haven't had a chance to friend it yet hehe, anything else would be appreciated lol
July 15, 2020 at 5:12 pm #1614832Maybe I'm off here. Can you just go into the morph settings and adjust that users navel in daz?
Make it bigger, smaller. There also were some body morph packages that let you make it go out/in, stretch vertical/horizontal.July 15, 2020 at 6:21 pm #1614843@miklaw Mhmm, just tried that way. I could get rid of it almost and barely to the point it's not that noticeable. But there's still some trace left of it and it doesn't look like it is as default. I'd wish there was something I could do. Maybe modify the morph file in some way or something like that?
I don't think I could do much with zbrush on my own.
July 15, 2020 at 7:19 pm #1614859Away from Daz, can't check. Try disable "use limits" for morphs to dial further, or, there is free Genesis 3 belly button morph at Renderosity that you could try on G8F
Edit: might need this for G3 to G8 morph;
converterJuly 15, 2020 at 8:32 pm #1614880Thanks for all the suggestions. Apparently I am not that good in working with other stuff. What I am good at is processing the data. And, at the end of it, its nothing more than just more numerical data. Found out the vertices for the navel (the one which the Navel dial changes). And I am pretty close to it and better than using other morphs over it. Simply gotta look for the way to deal with the slight bump I am seeing.
As you can see from the pics. It looks odd/weird/ugly while zoomed in but when it's not zoomed to the navel it looks really fine. With other morphs I am sure I could find a better result, I actually did but it was leaving a slight impression of the previous navel. (the deltas still remained in the same shape somewhat)
Pretty sure I could figure out how to make the bump disappear with some more tests.
July 15, 2020 at 9:18 pm #1614886Belly button piercing?
Several characters have morphs for the belly button. The most unique is "Pei" from Rarestone.July 15, 2020 at 9:29 pm #1614888Ay that would be like the most invisible piercing there getting pulled by someone haha. But lol if you're asking when I use the other morphs instead of editing the character morph, then hmm. It's not like a piercing. But like really slight and barely visible circle. Like instead of an actual piercing the piercing in the shape of a ring was embedded in her skin flat against it lol. Again, only on zooming it up. I'll have to figure out which deltas to make and move in what direction to get it normal. I guess the figure just didn't shrink vertically but also slightly on other axes too. The hard part would be to get the numbers right.
July 15, 2020 at 9:34 pm #1614889Belly button piercing would hide it 😂 Also try belly button morphs that come with characters. I played with it a bit a while ago. Belly buttons get overlooked, but are sexy.
July 15, 2020 at 10:05 pm #1614903its very easy if your a modeler I am not. I'd ask the original vendor about custom work he has the original model and is a modeler its a small task for him it would require a purchase but it would be exactly what you wanted because your the customer.
he may do easy mod free who knows.July 15, 2020 at 10:06 pm #1614904Can give that a try and sure, belly piercings are sexy heh.
And @lostpilot99 that suggestion is good but apparently it only works if the artist is compliant enough to such requests. If he isn't then it's not going to work as is. I could try that out. Certainly that would ease off my work.
July 20, 2020 at 7:09 pm #1615990Got no reply from Dmanding so far. I managed to do something better which gives me a far better result than navel morphs and whatnot.
This is the result.
EDIT: That's how it looks as default, zoomed in.
July 20, 2020 at 7:39 pm #1615994Looks good. How did you do it?
July 20, 2020 at 8:39 pm #1615997Well it was quite a long process and I refined it some more. Again I had to process a lot of data and had to do a lot of experimenting. I can list the things I did and tried to make work with which helped me understanding of marking something new. But none of them have me a good results. Perhaps someone else could make more interpretations from them.
In the end I started with a new character and just scaled it and used the height morph to get it in the same height as my character. (I think only using the height would be better instead of the scale) but when I got it at the same height, their pelvis/crotch and the navel were in the same position. From there I had to just make a whole morph and then remove all the vertices except for the navel portion and saved that part only. That's the result of it. Again it's a long route and I had to test a lot, I don't think anyone would want to go to such lengths, even if they don't know modelling.
From there i refined it a lot more. The only thing is that the navel portion (without the navel might look a bit large considering she's 6 to 7 inches shorter than the base figure. But alas, that's easily fixable after using the navel morphs)
I could give a better description/details on my process but I doubt anyone would be interested this way around.
