This asset: (https://zonegfx.com/word-tattoo-for-genesis-3-and-8-female/) is throwing an error for me when I try to use it, on the DAZ 4.12 release version.

I'm fairly certain I've used it before, so it's a bit weird it suddenly doesn't work, but it might have been a different version (also, I'm not 100% it's the Zone-version I have, but the difference shouldn't be that big).
February 11, 2020 at 12:49 AM #1467012My first action would to be installing over it.
My second action would look for a different source and install over it.
third would be delete all files associated with it and reinstall.
If all that failed, Id make a new scene with new install and see if it worked.
If all that failed, Id delete it and give up.You probably know or did this already but, maybe not.
February 11, 2020 at 1:46 AM #1467057Yeah. Figured it out after a reinstall. Weird thing is I'm fairly certain I got it from here, and I double checked that all files and such were present. The old file and the new file, exactly the same files. Probably just DAZ being DAZ. Regardless, a reinstall fixed it. Or well, mostly. It still misbehaves from time to time, and it's pretty shit, but it works.
February 11, 2020 at 4:07 AM #1467179I've had a few files just randomly corrupt on me or whatever it does. It has not happened often but enough that I usually suspect either the file or the save. reinstall usually works on files that just crap out for no reason but, I've found some installs are very picky about pathing and I've had to make special folders just for them. A couple main program files I had to click read only because they kept screwing up. I kinda got use to it a long time ago with Posers labyrinth file system and still get lost sometimes.
April 10, 2020 at 2:42 PM #1558668I am having the same issue but re-installation does not fix it at all. And encrypted daz studio files does not help at all even if you wanted to debug on your own.
Not sure what to do to fix it. I tried enabling output_debug as true in WTConstants.dsa but that did not help at all.
EDIT: And it's just with the female one. The male counterpart works fine. I wonder why though, the male WT shows up in materials and Female in Utilities, weird dev.
And then, the best part. I get it, it's supposed to bake images on skin. But, seriously, on the actual skin textures which it doesn't even show an option as if it were applied on the character we are using? I wanted to apply a tattoo on the back of someone. Along the spine. Guess it's not happening since it's torn/ripped apart down the middle. Anyone expert into such things got any clue what I can do about it? How the heck am I supposed to apply it down on someone's back and know that it'll look fine, because, again you know. I wouldn't know until I apply it on the character.Edit2: Tried some more. Thought I could apply more layers and adjust the "other half" of the cut message, and it would solve on it's own. At least, seemed like so. Apparently it doesn't add more layers and adjust the previous one only. Welps. Seems like needs work with photoshop or gotta use layered editor from daz itself after having two halves of the pieces separately. If anyone has a better idea, my ears are open. So far, not good of an impression. And sorta ridiculous when you think that it can't even do the layering on it's own. How the heck is one supposed to add the tattoo in places where the skin is cut.
Edit3: And there's no option for vertical alignment >.>
