Roxanne breathed in the early morning air. Her eyes were steely. The expression on her face, one of resolve as she slipped on the battle garments her mentor, the wise and ancient Murella, had given her. Soft and supple as silk yet as tough as dragon scales. Crafted by enchantments she did not profess to understand, only that its fit was like a glove and allowed her lithe well honed-trained body to move freely, vibrantly, unencumbered. She heft her battle ax and shield, both equally light and of some substance far stronger than any she knew. The dawn of battle had come and she was ready. Today, her people, the Rilaun, of whom she was the last, would be revenged.
