    I've been trying to keep this situation under wraps but it's happening more and more not just to me but people on this forum in general so I'm just going to address the elephant in the room.

    If you didn't fill the request PLEASE stop filling them as if you did.

    Some of you contribute very little to this forum and some don't at all. But at the very least have respect for the people who fill these requests.

    As I said, this has happened to me a lot. Some of the culprits are noobs(Or people with multiple accounts) while other times it's veteran members who are doing this which is even more egregious. I expect this sort of thing from newbies who've just joined and don't quite yet understand the rules but when it's coming from someone who's been here as long as I have and probably longer... that's when it's time for this to be addressed.

    @worda
    you in particular have done this to me on multiple occasions. You would post a request, I feel that request and I get rewarded by you filling that same request sometimes in the same day as if it's yours.

    Like here; https://pixeldrain.com/u/SKFrKmXx

    You post a request, I feel, you take.

    I've went to mods;

    @monkseye

    @warrant63

    @anjabear

    @eelgoo

    on several instances about this, heck, I went to you myself when you filled one of my very recent requests. Sadly, nothing really seems to be working. So my proposal to the mods as well as @hunter would be that people who are repeated offenders of this be penalized for this.

    I could understand if I disappeared off the face of the planet and left behind dozens of request but the fact that I'm a very active member, the fact that I literally printed "DO NOT Share" "I'll share it in the future myself" and this still happens is a slap in a face to me. I mean if you want points so badly then why not fill more requests yourself?

    It's crappy that this happened to you. Maybe you could manually fill the requests, until something is done about it, instead? Some people have been doing that.

    Just send out the PMs to trusted names on the request list and omit the ones you distrust.

    Pirate site. Even though there are some trustworthy people here, trust no-one unless you're willing to be disappointed.

    Pirate site. If people don't care about the creators why would that care about you sharing it? Thieves stealing from Thieves.

    Pirate site. Ultimately it's about sharing. In almost all cases minus a few whales, you'll easily get more than you put out. Think of it as a cup everyone drinks from but not everyone fills.

    A basic percentage of respect should be shown but dont expect it. Most only care about getting what they want and if you die no tears will be shed. Eventually someone else will fill your shoes. You're part of a minority that shares and if that doesn't warm your heart it will probably drive you insane.

    "Pirate site. If people don't care about the creators why would that care about you sharing it? Thieves stealing from Thieves."

    Because, unlike the creators, the people who are sharing it here are actually directly giving you something. Perhaps a bit of self-preservation (so more of your requests continue to be filled) might motivate them to care a bit more. Bad behavior leads to private sharing groups as more request fillers move to only share among themselves.

    @ulysses It's getting to that point where I have talks with others who are thinking of going private it sharing or just not filling request at all. It shouldn't come to this, I've been on several pirates for a little more than 15 years and there's at least a code to follow, here it's the opposite.

    @d0gg0d
    As I just stated, there's at least a code in other pirated sites I've been apart of. Chalking this up as "Hey, we're all sharing anyway" is a lame excuse for accepting shitty behavior. I'm at the point now where I have everything I need and could easily just share everything I have and stop filling request altogether. But we can't excuse things like this because it's "A pirate site".

    There is already a backdoor trade group here that was started probably 2 years ago if not more by a current mod.

    That group may or may not be part of a whale group that supposedly has formed.

    There are friends that pass content between each other here but I wouldn't call it a group.

    Reposting others content has been an issue here for as long as I've been a member and that's a decent amount of time. If there's a way to check original join date Id be interested to know how much of my life was spent here. I don't see it changing overnight.

    If I decide to buy a product, I'll post it for free to show you how much I care about points. I used some of mine to host contest. I quit for awhile and when I came back was gifted some by a friend.

    You're sharing what another person created and doing it without their permission. Not only costing them money but breaking laws that are in most countries. Sorry if I don't shed a tear for you imposing your skewed values of morality. It's like someone worked for a week straight and you gave them $5 for the effort and took credit. It's ridiculous. Sure there should be posting rules but please don't assume you're any kind of saint. I shared because I felt the need to repay community for sharing. Just because I think it's the right thing to do doesn't make it right.

    I've had everything I need to create content for years. I have so much content from so far back it's stupid and haven't touched 1/4 of it. I have so much new content from here I could start creating today and probably die before I've utilized it all. I rarely use anything now and just download out of habit.

    If I sound pessimistic it's because in a few years or less Daz will probably be as useful as a blackpowder musket in a drone war.

    While I enjoy Daz I can easily find other things to occupy my time.
    A kid, firearms collection, over 5k movies, a dozen Ps4 games still in the wrapping. A new PC I can play games on. So if you or others decide you don't feel like sharing. You might be doing me a favor.

    @d0gg0d Careful not to catch a nose bleed from sitting so high and mighty. It's funny how guys like you hang out on pirate sites yet act as if you're so far above piracy. It was the same thing with the old torrent forums, news flash kiddo, you're no different than anyone here.

    And also I couldn't care less what you do with YOUR fills as that's YOUR prerogative. But if I'm filling requests I have every right to request that they aren't shared until I'm ready to do so. What the hell is the point of the request system if it doesn't get honored?

    Lastly, just because you have this low bar for pirates/piracy and act as if you're some kind of saint doesn't make it true. Again, knowing that this piracy goes on here then why are you here? The stimulating conversation?

    This friction is solely owing to the limitation that the request system requires creation of duplicate requests after automatically closing the original request, once they get filled. If the system allowed late requests to be added to an existing filled request, there wouldn't be any scope for this friction.

    The requests remain visible for 48 hrs after they are filled. Why not allow late requestors to join the filled requests just like they would have, had they joined before the fill, instead of raising new duplicate requests? If new requests are allowed for the same items then its open season for everyone, since there is no way for the system to ascertain who is qualified to fill.

    Different people draw their own line when it comes to moral choices, so its upto the system to enforce its own standards. In the absence of adequate implementation, the morality bottom-line falls back to whatever the system allows.

    Actually it's the opposite. I know my position and where I set. At one time I consider myself better because I shared. It's that thought process that makes you think you're better than those who don't. You're not robinhood and I'm wonder if you would post if there wasn't a point system.
    There are people who post expecting nothing in return but gratitude. People who post for no other reason because they can and want to share with others who can't afford stuff to enjoy. Some post for notoriety and attach their names to it.
    Probably a dozen other reasons that don't involve a point system.

    If anything a leach steals once but a person who shares steals thousands of times.

    Holding people hostage saying you won't share unless you get your way is just elitist bullying I should know. I got to a point where I don't give a fhk. I'm here mostly for conversation and inspiration. 90% of what's shared here will eventually go to the wild and I'd probably use 3% of that. Most people have moved to AI and Daz is seemingly going to a pay model. I'm not going to be held hostage by an obsolete program that I occasionally use when I'm bored and even less so by a person I've never met and will be replaced if I wait long enough

    @peepshow45, I sincerely sympathize with you and fully support your words. Everything you said about @worda is absolutely true. I’ve encountered the same issues many times, and as far as I know, justice has finally prevailed—he was banned a few days ago. But, unfortunately, this won’t be the end of it. He can easily create a new account and continue doing the same thing, only with even more aggression and complete disregard for any rules. That’s exactly why I no longer fulfill requests—it’s simply pointless in an environment where there’s neither respect nor fairness.

    @d0gg0d
    , I had to scroll through your activity for quite a while just to assess your contribution to the community. And to be honest, it’s not exactly impressive. There’s definitely a small group of "whales" here who move separately from the rest, and I’m just a little whale among them. But even I can see why so many have stopped fulfilling requests. The main reason? A complete lack of respect. And sadly, your position, as stated above, is a perfect example of that.

    @heetee
    , you’re absolutely right! But, unfortunately, they don’t care. People like @d0gg0d believe that simply being here entitles them to tons of content without spending a single cent of their own money. As a result, the main feed is drying up, new releases are becoming rarer, and the community is losing its active members.

    Wishing everyone a great day, and thanks for your attention! (ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥

    Adam (d0gg0d) was once a good sharer here back in the day. Something happened (can't remember) and he got discouraged and took all his stuff down and stopped sharing. That was years ago. The activity history here only goes back so far. Many of us have been here for a long, long time.

    @maddy With heavy emphasis on entitlement. The guy said that I'm holding assets hostages all because I'm honoring the people who give 500 points to their desired request versus 50 in the blogs. I always prioritize those individuals first. After time has passed I post them in the blog, that's been my system since I got here and it's not changing because a few leeches of ZoneGFX wants me to give to them for free so they can run to their other forums like F95 and post it.

    Then of course there's the high and mighty attitude of some as if they're better than pirates yet they're here 24/7. I'm sure even back in the days when pirates roamed crewmates contributed in some way or the other. Fast forward to 2025 the ones that do the less here are usually the loudest bunch.

    But I've said my peace.
