The only thing exceptional about it is the astronomic price.

Sadly, that's what he'll be remembered for and not his models.

It doesn't matter what it is, for me anything obviously overpriced, automatically gets totally blanked.

I just walk on by & forget about it.

@eelgoo That's because you have common sense. Most Devs looking to start up a new project isn't going to budge when it comes to paying Lisson4321's ransom amount.

To @medusa's point though some people do tend to buy high priced garbage just to say "I have that". Example; That trend of those atrocious giant red boots that people in the "fashion" industry were just dying to own. Those types will always exist.

However, we are talking digital assets. And as I've stated previously there's just too many other high quality vendors out there that are making much better models for someone like me to even consider Mr. Lisson's ransom.

Even if I had disposable money to burn I still wouldn't flinch. Not when I could head over to artstation and pay the real artists for a model of my very own.

A full-ownership scenario would be interesting. If the buyer gets full and complete ownership and rights to do with it whatever they please, including selling it themselves or whatever. After purchase the creator removes it from the store and the buyer is the rightful owner with full control. They can hoard it forever, or use it how the like, or even distribute it freely.
Wonder if things like that could work.

@Medusa Yes, I'm well versed in the whole process it'll take. What I'm saying is if I'm going to pay astronomical prices for an okay-ish looking model on Renderhub than I'd rather spend it investing on my very own model.

Hard to believe we're even having this discussion. Move on to AI where everything is free and people actually look like real people rather than 1990's game models. I have no idea why people would persist with this 3D model crap when so much better is now available and for free. I guess old habits die hard. Enjoy your self-flagellation.

Flux is good at natural language discriminating prepositions concerning which and to whom a prompt applies like foreground character, next to, and behind. I can produce a consistent character with prompts and a lora. It will follow natural English phrasing and prepositions very well and other positional relationships.
Given the low US SAT language scores perhaps if you don't know how English grammar works that may be a problem in itself.
Why are films so shit these days. Why can't people act with conviction and heart with modesty without muscles, guns and explosions? All we seem to have left is immature baby-boys and slutty scags, hello Trump.

I guess I went off on a tangent but today's films seem uniformly formulaic, so does the music scene.
Why would AI be a problem when so-called free agents like taytay or the stones continue to churn out the same shite again and again and again like some insane sausage factory.

Oh yeh, out of my brain on a train, been there in London the 70s with speed.. All vids of this have been taken down by Youtube so my vid might not last long.
Lol already taken down but you can watch it here.... thank you Mega.

That is a very interesting & plausible scenario. 🙂

@Medusa Exactly, TotoCandy, Wartech and RHenderArt have been doing private commissions for years. Some are more hit or miss than others but the opportunity is there. I've been in the AVN space for some time and some artist do prefer having exclusive models versus the standard.

    @Frank22
, maybe it's because so I've seen people illustrate the worst aspects of Ai but I just can't get into that.

One of my main gripes with Ai and the creators who use it is that they try to make everything perfect. Art isn't perfect and should have imperfections and flaws but you wouldn't know that from some of these creators. Everything is perfect face, perfect skin tone, perfect hourglass body. And all of that comes off as boring to me.

I don't know how that is he does not even make it into the top sales list , I think it's B.S he could purchase his own stuff to "rig" sales it's done all the time on the net.

They do this to get all the SHEEP to follow and make it look as if their stuff has a steady market.

It really depends how they are counting sales.
Total 'value' amount or numbers of units sold.
