First, you will need to get a free program Autodesk FBX Converter The 2013.3 is suggested.
Step 1 - Load the item into iClone, and Export it in FBX format - No need to change options.
Step 2 - Use FBX Converter to Convert the FBX to OBJ (Drop down on the right has obj) - no need to change options
Step 3 - Open the .FBM directory and save the material files into the /Runtime/Textures/ folder, in a folder with the product name, so for example /Runtime/Textures/Food Storeroom
Step 4 - Open the .OBJ file in DAZ.
Step 5 - In the Surfaces tab, Assign the Base map to the one you saved in the Runtime directory. Make the normal map the one you put in the Runtime directory. IF the item needs opacity, then map that as well. (You may need to show hidden parameters)
Step 6 - Zero the prop. The prop may come in anywhere. If you scroll out a bit, you will see that the center point has 2 thick lines, as compared to the rest of the grid. you want to move the prop to that point.
Step 7 - Save the prop as a support asset, make sure the values at the top are correct. You can compress the files (last option)
Step 8 - Test it out. Delete the files that were converted from iClone to FBX and OBJ, including the texture files. Then load the product you just made into Daz, if there are no errors, then you did everything right. If there is an error, it is most likely you did not map a surface to the file in the textures directory. In that case, read which surface from the message and ignore the error. Then, once it is loaded, map that surface properly and save again.
