    Post page: https://zonegfx.com/obj-companion/

When I run the installer, it seems to work, but nothing happens, I don't know where it's installing to, it's not in my plugins directory, I used Search Everything to search for "obj companion", it only shows the installer and uninstaller (which is created in the same directory as the installer exe) nothing shows up in Daz Studio under "about plugins" or in the "add pane" submenu. Google has been unhelpful.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I figured it out, kind of, I ended up decompiling the installer with a tcl script I found here: https://gist.github.com/mickael9/0b902da7c13207d1b86e
& voila, the .dll I needed appeared.

    Props to that guy

Tutorial copied from a post on F95:

    * Download the binary from github; https://github.com/Harakku/bitrock-unpacker/releases/
    * Put the bitrock installer you want to extract into a folder with the bitrock-unpacker exe
    * Open a cmd window and change the working dir to that folder:
    cd "path\to\folder\"
    * Use the following command format to extract it:
    bitrock-unpacker-v2019-11-18-x86.exe INSTALLER.EXE OUTPUT_DIR

This should work on any bitrock installer, whether it's a plugin or a content installer.
