    I’ve never baked anything. Don’t really even know what it is. One more thing I need to learn.

    From time to time it’s good to be reminded of how much I don’t know about the software so I can make it a point to learn more.

    That's a good way to look at it. I needed to stay in spired so i'm moving away from daz, slowly but surely. I like what Blender has to offer. The navigation is just odd. so iv'e been doing 3dsMax exercises each day. I pick a section. tab or some area of the software. then google what each thing does,or is used for. Youd be surprised how helpful that is.

    That being said. Maybe its possible to import to maya with daz to maya, and if any software is capable of baking morphs into the mesh, that would be it.

    Wait is that what the option transfer active morphs does?

    You can save the morph as a preset, just make sure to include when packaging, unless you create FBX/OBJ then preset is irrelevant.

    You can bake morphs in Modo and a few other 3D applications, same goes for texture baking. And you can easily create morphs for DS in almost any 3D application. Zbrush is my tool of choice, GOZ enabled makes it a breeze.
    Now all you need to do is choose your weapon for texturing. 3DCoat seems the most user friendly app out there.

    One of the easiest way to morphs character is using Daz to zbrush bridge
    https://www.daz3d.com/goz-for-daz-studio
    If you use this way ... you have to put related product info at the Add Custom Content
    So user will know what file they need to use your morphs.

    Yeah @norbertz it seem we have lot of talented user here 😀

    @norbertz

    I've mentioned it in passing here and there. I've actually modeled a few things for comps here. The Jack-O-Lanterns for Tootsie's Halloween comp (which I improved after submitting the entry), the Zodiac Wheel for the Zodiac contest... maybe a couple of other things; can't quite remember. Probably more manipulating existing models than creating from scratch.

    My first model was a Skywalker Lightsaber that I've shared with a couple of members. I followed a written tutorial to the letter to create it and I learned a lot from that. That was several years ago and I've had it all this time.

    @robf4g210

    That shows how little I participate on the Zone.
    See, I missed all of what you just said because this place is like a revolving door for me most of the time. I keep saying I'll participate and have more input but get sidelined with personal stuff on the other side of the monitor screen :/

    Anyway enough of my rambling. It's great to have talent like yourself here, looking forward to seeing more of your work 🙂

    I went ahead and bought the trapeze (even tho it says to not buy it lol) and it loads up fine aside from it looking for "uber patina" textures. I like the idea of people putting up custom stuff. Most Daz people/things these days all look kinda the same, and the props are mainly all sci-fi oriented. Things like the Cirque trapeze are fun to me, I hope to see more stuff uploaded!

    @rokkstarinc

    That is exactly the feedback I was looking for. Thank you!

    So now i need to find the path to the shaders that the prop uses and include them. It might be Monday, but I’ll get that fixed for you.

    If I can find the time, I might make some poses for that trapeze. That would be fun.
