Yep I use AI for my images now but I produce them with my own personal style and input to craft them into at least something I could call my own stuff. I don't know, maybe not.
And maybe not a total fraud to this extent.
Taylor Swift and Elton John mime and virtually everyone now uses pitch correction and/or autotune software. Some just mime to backing tracks with both vocals and instruments.
If people go to concerts to see dance and their star "performing" then that's fine IMO. If they go to them thinking they're singing live, nup, that doesn't happen anymore. Did Kendrick Lamar mime at the Super Bowl with PC/auto-tune?, 10:1 he did.

Depends on the kind of music you listen to. I listen to a lot of extreme metal bands, and I know most of them are playing and singing live. Im friends with a good number of them, and have been on the allowed to hang out on the side of the stage during concerts, I can assure you they are playing.

True gts but I'm referring to those we think wouldn't be cheating, and those deliberately pretending they're not. There's a difference.

As someone who is classically trained, but had a natural ability to begin with; I learnt the first steps as a child (my grandfather was a flautist, my mother, a singer (mezzo-soprano), violinist, cellist - both with the ability to play by ear as opposed to being trained.) I hate the fact that AI has taken over damn near everything. I play violin, banjo, guitar and piano - along with some archaic instruments by ear, and can also read music and am a contralto, but all of that natural talent, application and study is now being declared obsolete by those who embrace AI in all things.

AI can be fun, but where it concerns music, it's a big ''no'' from me.
