Hi all,
I am not sure if anyone watches international news anymore since the news is so full of Trumpystuff and hateful shootings that I don't think people realize that the world is currently on fire. Literally. Climate change has caused fires and high temperatures which are killing people in countries that don't have air conditioning - cause we never needed it, our temperatures in summer were considered cool and temperate for people who lived in places like the Equatorial region, and Texas.
I am originally from Portugal and have family in multiple regions, including Estoril, Lisboa, Porto, and Faro (Algarve).
Currently, my aunt's home went partially up in uncontrolled flames due to fires that the fire departments here couldn't keep under control. My sons helped out digging fire trenches to keep the fires from crossing to other homes. It was NOT what I planned for their summer holidays!
Anyway, I am not going to be back home in Berlin until mid-August and so I am still moderating here, but sometimes I forget to add points to products I wish to have in the Requests.
As I collect Bundles and especially MALE stuff, and the Mousso and HID girls etc, could you guys please keep me in mind when you FILL these sorts of things - if I missed out on offering points? I will always offer a base of 500 Points for single items and for Bundles 1000 Points and Mega Bundles between 2000 and 3000 Points.
Lately, many people have been filling things ANONYMOUSLY and that makes it impossible for me to find out who filled them and to keep up with the new stuff.
I'd love to ask my friends @enjoyify @warrant63 @adelasia @legolas18 @monkseye to keep me in mind if they think I'd like something and haven't offered points for them. I'd be very grateful.
Hugs from very hot and smokey Algarve Portugal.

July 21, 2022 at 1:21 pm #1833696My wife and I are working in Riyadh, having been there for the last 7 years.
We try to get back for a month, once or twice a year to keep an eye on our property and catch up etc [pandemic screwed that pooch royally - so first visit now since mid 2019].
as you would expect, Riyadh is a little warm...
August will likely hit around 140C and up - and we have had 3 days rain there since start of Corona. And as sod's law dictates, we are nearing the end of our current stay and have baked even more here than in Riyadh. Humidity is the biggest factor in the UK, which rarely gets above 4% in Riyadh, but absolutely kills when combined with the weird heatwave currently in force.
Just for fun I am also re-sheeting and felting a largish garage roof - courtesy of winter storms whilst stuck overseas.7 years in Riyadh and it takes one freak heatwave in UK to get head peeling after a couple of weeks.... Sod's law indeed.
Stay safe and keep cool everyone...
July 21, 2022 at 7:11 pm #1833771I'll be keeping you in mind, @AnjaBear! Stay safe. ❤️
I used to be so hopeful, but these escalating heat waves make me feel doomed. We're watching our own collective suicide.
