Let's render that hoard!

We are all hoarders. If you guys are anything like me, you have several Hds with content you probably never even loaded up, let alone made a render with.

Now me, I'm not just a hoarder, I actually index everything in a neat spreadsheet, and keep a copy of all the main promos in a separate folder for easy search and overwiev of what I actually have. Keeps me from downloading stuff more that once (mostly). But I spend so much time cataloguing that I rarely actually use anything, and that's fine as I enjoy cataloguing (I'm autistic if you didn't guess) BUT I have decided to start making renders of the stuff I have, no matter how bad it is!

So what I'm going to do, is let Windows Explorer choose a random product from my folder of promos, then make something with it! Force myself to be creative, and who knows, it might create some gold down the line!

So, for the first project in this series, the randomly chosen product is:

Hel for v4.1 (yes, point ONE!) by Freja (DAZ SKU 5670 for anyone interested)

Well. It's made by Freja, so the shape isn't too bad, but the skin.. It's from that time when they filled the entire lip mask, so no matter what, you'll get some really weird lips. Skin converted well enough with EZskin

Feel free to critisize all you want, this is just a throwaway piece that I won't work on again, but I always appreciate constructive criticism! After all, that's how we learn, right?

Freja is one of my favourite vendors.

She isn't as prolific these days.

Next product: Temptation for Endless II by Romantic3D, Rosity 98493
Nice product. Endless II is by 3D-Age, always good quality with good meshflow and plenty of morphs. This texture pack had some interesting textures, and they still render well. Ended up with this one.

And now I realise I should have made a squishmorph in the seat. Eh, whatever, good enough

Another 3D-Age, which means good mesh, plenty of morphs, but the textures are so-so today. Wish there was a way to adjust the ribbon as it defies gravity..

@d0gg0d I meant I wish there was a morph in the product to do it. I can certainly do the hard work with the morph brush or make it dynamic myself, but that's just too much work for this excersize XD

(And I don't use DS, I use Poser, so those products won't work for me)

This is basically just a flat wrap for fancy texturing. Good enough for scenes, but not recommended for portraits. I chose the texture named "Black Lace"
