So I have uploaded quite a few files here and any time I did I used that website with the clownfish on it and it worked perfectly. However all of my photos (and from what I have seen the photos of other users as well who used it) got nuked. I have none remaining and this is kind of annoying since I hate having no photos on the files that I posted at least. How can I remedy this ?
February 11, 2024 at 6:01 am #2058025I hear you....
They were supposed to be working on a way that we could 're-up" dead images... kind of like we can add new links now.
I don't know how that is going, but a good percentage of my images from about Dec 23 on are now dead.
@warrant63 Any update?February 11, 2024 at 12:13 pm #2058045Yes, I have been unable to use Jpeg2 too due to a recurrent error. I hope that the site gets updated soon with the links to the new working websites for image upload
February 11, 2024 at 12:15 pm #2058046IamgeHostX has got a limit of 1 MB for the pictures, which is not great

February 11, 2024 at 1:44 pm #2058068@redflag The already uploaded images are not dead. The pic host did a server maintenance which turned into a shit show. And because of a DDOS guard problem, they can't really fix this for some reason...
ATM the old pictures are accessible from the simp6.jpg.church and simp6.jpg.church domains (like https://simp6.jpg.church/images3/jepesmodernmajlis00maindaz3d1634dc5e05d0e608.jpg), atm this will give you the DDOS guard error and won't load shit. Tho they still have the old domains (so they didn't lost them), but once again for some reason, the old and new pictures are only working from the simp4.host.church and simp6.host.church domains. So if you rewrite the old pic URL's (like https://simp6.host.church/images3/jepesmodernmajlis00maindaz3d1634dc5e05d0e608.jpg), they will work fine once again.
As far as I know, the OnlyFans ripper sites who use this image provider have stopped waiting for a solution and they just rewrite their image links sitewide. They are not using WP based systems, so it's much easier for them.I already sent @Hunter the changes for the Upload and Request forms, so he can whitelist the new servers, but his time is obviously limited too 🙂
+We are aware that the imagehostx.com is slow af :/
February 11, 2024 at 2:02 pm #2058069Thanks Warrant.... I had seen your post about it earlier.
I was asking more specifically about an 'update' to the ability for users to repost dead images that were not related to this current shit show.
There had been talk, if I remember correctly, about implementing a way similar to the new link system.
February 11, 2024 at 2:08 pm #2058071I'm seeing these same sorts of problems net wide on forums that use a lot of image hosts. There's been discussions on whether or not many of these places aren't providing free hosting anymore because they're not getting the advertising (ad blockers).
My bunkrr still works fine but the image doesn't show up here..
...nope, still no show with the image tag.
...even with all my shit blockers turned off.February 11, 2024 at 9:21 pm #2058116A feature like what Redflag mentioned would be great. I used imagehostx for a few posts but i absolutely hate it. Half the day the site won't even load at all, so I would love to swap those images with jpg2 hosted ones at some point.
Maybe adding the postimg host as an option could be an option too? Since bunkrr disabled new registrations there are no good options at the moment.
February 11, 2024 at 11:21 pm #2058121I mean this is going to be fairly obvious to most, but from my own experience reducing any request image kb size low as possible without losing visual quality helps with the current image loading issues, sub 125kb seems to be the sweet spot.
Handy for say Daz3d store images which tend to be mostly upwards of 700kb.
February 12, 2024 at 8:55 pm #2058245You can use again the JPG2-3-4 hosted images in the forms. They should accept the new links now 🙂
We are working on our own fix for the older images :/ -
