That used to be something easy to do, with the filler being mentioned, but nowadays that info doesn't appear anymore. Say you filled a request, then the thread would mention "Filled by Ulysses". All we had was to ask you nicely :). Now though... who filled it? As Cyrano says: who "nose".
To the people who know other places to get there content from. If that is the case, why hang around here wining?
If there is no other way to fill your time, I suggest you find a hobby.

To have siterip shadowcore, 3d-load, render-state, f95zone and the dead one highdl for v4 stuff. And there are 3 where you can find stuff you can't find here even if it's rare because they get reposted after a week here.
Then go the fuck to these 'ever so wonderful sites' and stop complaining about this place.
Delete your profile and membership and go live the good life over there.And please go back to school and learn to make coherent posts.

I agree on the changes made and the necessity to counter bots, farmers and leechers. Wish this would be more visible as I also have not received this urgent updates until today.
Negative on 3dload. It's a good backup site for here, but gets no original content. The admin there admitted he can't fill requests because he doesn't have access to content directly. If this site goes private, 3dL will close.
RS does get some stuff that isn't here. But not near enough to use as a primary source. If this site goes private, RS will have a small dwindle of new stuff, probably 10 - 20 things a week. I expect 3dL will leech off of RS if Zone becomes unusable to him.
F95Z does get some stuff that isn't posted here. It's about like RS. Plus, it's very cliquish there. More of a game dev site than a 3d artist sharing site.
Shadowcore does get stuff that isn't here. Not much, but some. Unfortunately, it's all in Russian, goes down/disappears for a while more than the other sites, and has pop-ups, also in Russia, that I have no idea what they're doing.
I'm here because all those other sites are worse than Zone. When posters tell us they are leaving and going to better sites, no one can ever tell us where these sites are. Phoung has/had lots of sites, with lots of content and she'll even reup stuff for you (if you have a premium RG account). But if you don't have a premium RG account, her sites suck. Nah, there's nothing better. There's nothing as good. I'm all for competition and having options, but it just isn't out there.
I think this site has other good features ulysses No where else could you download a program like Poser for example, that is costly, and get opinions about the program before you download, and help with problem solving afterwards.
There are no comments on anything in the Daz catalogue. Here you can see something and ask opinions.
There is a huge number of users on here that can offer sound advice, that alone is worth coming here.This has been brought up before but I'd like to suggest it again. I would say PAs make 80+% of their sales in the first few days/weeks of release. So to not bite the hand that feeds us, and perhaps reduce DMCA takedown notices, I think there should be a delay of say 3 weeks before newly released content is shared here. Also as a sign of respect to PAs by those who have a twinge of conscience about the whole pirating thing... not that there seems many here.
We already have an Upcoming blog so it wouldn't be hard to delay newly released content with that setup. No?@frank22 Agreed, even pirates should have a code of sorts.
I buy items for various reasons:
1. I want and can use them (obviously)
2. The cost of the item in relationship to the amount
of points make it attractive
Now. I buy the item,the most points offered usually occur on
the day/week the product is issued.If a Daz item is popular
you see it in requests about an hour after it is issued. The item
during this startup is usually half price.
I now have the item. What makes it attractive to me makes it attractive
to others, who also bought.
So the race is on to fill the request for points.
This is a pirate site, we come here to "get stuff" "Get points"
Now more than ever when people are disregarding all sense of
propriety to "manipulate" the rules is really not a good time
to discuss a code of sorts.
I post as soon as I purchase.....you don't have to download it.
Someone willIn order for an item to appear in upcoming, it must be
marked for public.
Since 100% of my items are anon, that let's me out
anywaykinda sucks daily points got removed. its what I relied on to be able to request:( I ain't got the money to fill much requests.
but the expiring points thing really isn't cool imo...
why do us regular users need to suffer cause of the bot accounts?
I feel that a code (of some sort) is more important now than it's ever been. It's no secret that all the vendors are struggling, mostly because they're stupid and delusional (Daz...Rendo?). We desperately need to support the little folks who are the lifeblood of the hobby. we should be quietly suggesting to our favourite artists that they think about moving to 3D Shards where they'll get most of the sales money and the pirates have agreed to NOT share their stuff.
This isn't possible with Daz as they don't allow contact with their artists but I'm sure some are in here and will see this and spread the word. It means that there's lees that we share but more items in the long run.
