I don't believe what just I saw. bad comparison
They upload a bad comparison between the skins. They just use a good normal map on a left side and a bad normal map on the right side. Only the eyes are different but just in marginal.
This is all a hype. I don't care anymore this generation.

People still use V4 and I've rendered G3 with G8 textures fine. I've more content than I'll use in my lifetime. New content just keeps me interested. I've no need for software that requires me to constantly upgrade to run the latest daz product. It's a fun hobby that I could replace with something as simple as Pokemon or replaying GTA. I put it down for years and happen to come back a little before KAT died. It will probably be a bit before venders totally adopt 9 unless forced into it. Other than a few improvements, G3 does everything I ask her to do. Even V4 had some decent content. The original Daz Troll is still a favorite of mine. I could easily kitbash enough stuff to keep me in renders till the Jetsons are a reality.
I'm not sure I could run or afford the software to do what I'd like and even then It's more of a want than a need. I've been fostering a child and my priorities are her. This is something I'll do occasionally when she's asleep and I'm not busy with life. I feel that the majority of Daz users are similar. Occasional users and dabblers that won't be effected much by what number model they use.I doubt that Daz calls the shots anymore. Tafi’s in charge and all they want is money RIGHT NOW!
If Tafi seriously thinks I'm going to spend $10K each on the G9 head and body morphs (like I even have that kind of money), they're out of their minds. No thanks, G3 has worked well for me and I'm sticking with it.
