Lest we forget.
December 1, 2024 at 9:55 pm #2105819Can't see any image; error when accesing postimg.cc... is it me, or any other has the same problem?
December 1, 2024 at 10:01 pm #2105821I had that problem yesterday but today it's back to normal. I'm using imgur from now on as it's more reliable.
December 2, 2024 at 2:28 pm #2105971December 4, 2024 at 5:58 pm #2106338I didn't see anything in the rules about it, and I've seen images done both ways. So I was wondering if it matters whether the submitted images are done portrait or landscape?
December 4, 2024 at 7:19 pm #2106346I'm sure that doesn't matter @solemann but "... with seasonal details on in the scene" would seem to mean that the images will need to have some elements that depict seasons ie. spring/winter and/or Easter/New Years/Labor Day for example. Or perhaps just presenting the images in calendar style will cover that.
Maybe I'm getting hung up on details and we should just be having a bit of fun making our images. There doesn't seem much point if we're not.December 4, 2024 at 7:30 pm #2106348Dunno. I tried to give each image something relevant to that month. Doubt I'll be able to complete 12.
December 4, 2024 at 8:14 pm #2106358Thanks for the input 🙂
I'm thinking along the lines of pinup in the seasonal holiday style for each month. I'd prefer doing those types images portrait layout.
December 4, 2024 at 8:23 pm #2106361So have I Adam but some are tenuous and doing that for all 12 is very difficult. Not sure when I'll finish. Some of mine are linked to seasons and some to seasonal events. To try to hold it all together I've picked a country, a time period and a consistent art style.

Yes Eve but not when you are using AI.
When I said tenuous I meant it. There is a link here between April and fish but I doubt many would get it. Have a try 🙂 the clue is in the picture.December 4, 2024 at 10:29 pm #2106379December 5, 2024 at 5:15 am #2106405Okidoki here my Calendar and a link for the complete gallery.

December 5, 2024 at 12:30 pm #2106446@lucafeelgood I'm conflicted. Visually, this is stunning. But as a calendar, it's pretty useless because a lot of the dates just blend into the background, and I'd never be able to see them from my comfy chair. But who cares? The images are just stunning, and for me at least, they blow everything else that's been posted so far out of the water.
But then I looked at the full-resolution images, and I don't think they help because they kind of highlight that, as good as it is, AI still has a distance to go. In the low-resolution post, I hadn't noticed that, on the front cover, the woman in the top hat has two left arms and a stump for her right arm. This is a genuinely wonderful image, but I can't unsee that now. There are a couple of other minor issues, you know where they are, where the larger images don't do you any favours, but, overall, this is far and away the best of the postings so far.
Now, can we talk about March? You could sell that. I'd buy that in a heartbeat, frame it, and give it pride of place on my wall.
