Am I the only idiot to take a HUGE load of time to make a CALENDAR with all the numbers one by one in photoshop????
LOL
https://postimg.cc/5HLLL79yWell, as many of my latest renders, it's set in the 80's (1984 specifically), so this a calendar for their next year. And starting with the last month: december. Ashley Parker with Christmas candies while buying the tree.
November 15, 2024 at 7:19 pm #2102823Last day of school, a long hot summer in the horizon.
No better way to celebrate that enjoying a burger at Macy's with the friends.
Sam and Chani at the bottom.
Rob Parker and his shadow, Maddie (the 'yoko ono' of the group). Ashley standingNovember 15, 2024 at 7:52 pm #2102833Last one for today. July
Rob and Ashley, brother and sister. At the park staring at the magnificent fireworks.November 15, 2024 at 7:55 pm #2102834The only smart one but who needs numbers if you're looking at T+A.
Since the only rule is the rule of 12 then I'm assuming it doesn't matter.
November 16, 2024 at 4:53 am #2102896Three down, nine to go. Stopping for a bit for the Tyson fight.. I found a free livestream.
EDIT - Tyson's too old.. six done, six to go. I'm off to bed.
November 16, 2024 at 10:14 pm #2103060Let's go with september...
New year at school, and love at first sight between Rob and Maddie.November 16, 2024 at 10:17 pm #2103062Summer is the best part of the year... so it deserves a double issue.
July/August, Ashley Parker and Rob Parker.
Bicycles. They make us invincibles when we were kids...November 17, 2024 at 8:36 am #2103121@1138adrianmartinez This is what a calendar looks like to me. Beautiful old-fashioned work. I really like the numbers because a calendar without numbers is a book without letters. I hope to see more of your work.
November 17, 2024 at 9:45 pm #2103228Most of the calendars I've seen have the pictures at the top and the days/numbers on the bottom page. Room for personal notes and designated days like Thanksgiving and Labor Day without covering the pictures or cluttering the days.
I rarely buy calendars so I've little experience in thier artistic presentation.
Calendars and books for Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition aren't particularly known for their text. I guess inspirational kitten calendars may have a different layout but by the time my daughter is old enough to track days we will probably all have implant chipsNovember 18, 2024 at 6:07 pm #2103362Thanks @lucafeelgood.
Here comes May.
Days get longer, time to enjoy at the arcades after school.November 18, 2024 at 6:47 pm #2103373I must be slow, I just noticed your Ashley character is the same one in your avatar. BTW I'm enjoying your calendar... great posing and scene construction... love the June one.

Nup, I've been doing the same thing (after seeing yours and reading Adam's comment).
This comp has been very challenging to maintain a consistent theme for 12 months, which is the way you've approached it. I've tried the same but some of my connections are quite esoteric.November 18, 2024 at 8:43 pm #2103385I saw recently that Phoebe Waller-Bridge had been chosen to write and direct the new Tomb Raider series on Amazon Prime. So I decided that my calendar theme would be related to Tomb Raider because I wanted one last happy memory of Lara Croft before Waller-Bridge kills the franchise. I'm doing a traditional Monday-Sunday Calendar, with a picture on top, and dates on the bottom. I'll upload the images here, and when I've completed them all, I'll give a link for the whole kit 'n' kaboodle.
Let's kick off with January and the hunt for the mysterious Abominable Snowman. -
