Well at least having it below the image does not affect the viewing... 🙂
October 1, 2023 at 10:09 am #2032232My wishlist:
- Something needs to be done about filling out requests for articles that are already in the blog. There have been several cases recently where requests were filled out after the article was published in the blog for 50 points. Not every user will notice this, and someone may lose their points for no reason.
- Filters and sorting for requests. A "My Requests" filter. Sorting by date added and sorting by the number of suggested points.
- I also join the others who ask not to delete requests that will not be published in the blog at the filler discretion. So that everyone has the opportunity to request a link by offering points. By introducing such a change, we will not duplicate requests and eliminate possible fraud from dishonest users (yes, don't tell me there are none here).
- The fillers should have the ability to set the minimum point value independently. A minimum of 500 points is good, but what about pro bundles or items worth $100 or more? Right now, I see a request for an item worth $100, and many are offering 500 points for it!
- Please add the link in the site menu to the "Upcoming posts" section. It is very weird that this section can only be accessed from the main page.
For now, that's all. If something else comes to mind, I'll definitely write about it. Have a great day, everyone.
October 1, 2023 at 1:35 pm #2032258When you search in requests, the points don't show in the resulted items. Is this a bug or intentional?
October 1, 2023 at 1:43 pm #2032261October 1, 2023 at 1:50 pm #2032263@Maddy Something needs to be done about filling out requests for articles that are already in the blog. There have been several cases recently where requests were filled out after the article was published in the blog for 50 points. Not every user will notice this, and someone may lose their points for no reason. ▶ Currently our best solution for this is to introduce the report function on the requests (like blog posts) and leaving the 24-hour window timeframe active before approving the reward transfer.
I also join the others who ask not to delete requests that will not be published in the blog at the filler discretion. So that everyone has the opportunity to request a link by offering points. Filters and sorting for requests. A "My Requests" filter. Sorting by date added and sorting by the number of suggested points. ▶ Already working on it 🙂

Right now, I see a request for an item worth $100, and many are offering 500 points for it! ▶ Added to our wishlist. + (but with Selective Filling you will be able to exclude folks)
Please add the link in the site menu to the "Upcoming posts" section. It is very weird that this section can only be accessed from the main page. ▶ I'm not sure about this, this feels again like the big tiles vs small tiles on the request page :/

Typo on ALL request pages.
The word "Created" is spelt CreratedOctober 1, 2023 at 2:43 pm #2032277@sonytony Thanks 🙂 It's already on the todo list 😀
https://postimg.cc/k2nNzG3yOctober 1, 2023 at 3:18 pm #2032286@jacky Yeah, it works and the image was replaced 🙂 I'm not sure if the own post edit is possible with our current plugin set, but I will ask it 🙂

If it's possible then it should be only allowed for the image urls while everything else in the post should be left to the reporting system like the store url.October 1, 2023 at 9:39 pm #2032446@3ddazcreations It would be great to have a way to jump in on an already filled request that is the filler does not want posted/scheduled to the main board.
Without this, it would just disappear in 48hrs and would have to be reposted all over again, wait for a filler to fill the request which may or may not happen until even more ppl contribute points.
If we could just jump in and 'pay' the 500 for a filled request before it is deleted, it would speed things up greatly, prevent redundant requests re-filling the board, and get the filler even more points than they initially expected.
It's a win-win-win all around.
+1

I have to concur. Not only would latecomers have access and a chance at a request in a continued format, but the fillers would have greater opportunity at points. (Un-deleted, and also not closed to new offers, of course.) And it really seems that this approach would also cut down greatly on duplicates. Win-win-win indeed.
(Real question) Exactly what is the need to close non-blog requests to new offers, and to delete non-blog requests in a 48h period, btw? Is it strictly to save on server or site space? Or are there other reasons?
There is no request deletion in the forum, for example, and "closed" requests in the forum still have the chance to be filled through PM, of course. I'm just curious what the requirements are for the new system having a close or deletion in place at all, and why - especially in the case of fillers opting out of the blog postings.
@warrant63 The re-sized images are perfect now, btw & IMO. Not too small, not too large. The points/filled tag at the bottom is the perfect solution as well.
Looking really really good.October 2, 2023 at 11:39 am #2032572@spats It would be great to have a way to jump in on an already filled request that is the filler does not want posted/scheduled to the main board.

▶ We are still discussing the "Request close" problem, but the community has conflicting wishes + we have our own limits.
A lot of folks requested the selective option (to exclude a few problematic members during a fill), but at the same time a lot of folks requested to join the request after it was Filled to quickly get a link. So the Filler would be forced to decide about new offers every time, because of these features. And this would be a notification nightmare for us and for the Filler too. We are working on it but currently, the solution to reach this is not really crystal clear 🙂October 2, 2023 at 4:31 pm #2032656I think a potential solution to the issue of not wanting to fill for certain people, and wanting others to be able to already get filled files without having to make a new request would be to move filled (but not posted to the blog), or Anon filled posts to a separate area that will remain 'alive' for a month.
People will be able to go there and add in their points, but the original filler will have to check out that area every now and maybe use a check box on names to auto send the link to.
It's a compromise between the two, but does put more work on the filler.October 2, 2023 at 7:57 pm #2032788First, kudos to the team for this new system and even more about improving it every day.
For me, until there is a list of filled and close requests implemented or a way to filter the request page, I would like very much if there could be some indication, on the request card that are mark filled/filled & approve (maybe by putting these words in a greenish color instead of white), that the filler have chose to post it on the blog.
That would simplify maintaining my own list of request filled that will be deleted as I don't need to keep track of those who will be on the blog
October 3, 2023 at 12:16 am #2032857one thing I noticed is that some requests are fulfilled within less than an hour. You don't have a chance to add points unless you are in the system every 10 minutes.
October 3, 2023 at 2:37 pm #2033051@maxxp2 , I have noticed the same thing I think the request should have to stay open for at least 24 hrs so that ppl have a chance to offering pts.
